NO, NO and one more time NO

Most of these offers are scam.

Not all of them tho BUT, you cant really make some decent amount of cash with them.

Most of all most legitimate surveys pay you with discount cupons and stuff like this.

You need to spend alot of time to get atleast 5$ (in case they pay money not cupons)

And WARNING, all offers promising 20$ per survey are bloody scams, I'm 100% sure

Verdict : Stay away from them

    Cheers

Not all online surveys are scams. I've been doing them for Ciao for years and have been paid. Trouble is that I never seem to qualify for the higher paid ones.

Scams are where you have to pay join up fees to do surveys when there are plenty of places where you can sign up for free. Do not expect to make a great deal from them, but a bit extra comes in handy while you are finding your feet in Internet marketing.

I've got an ebook that gives advice and lists a lot of free survey sites. It was written by a very ethical lady who I have known business wise for several years. If you want a free copy PM me.

There's a few that aren't scams but they require a number of hours for very little financial benefit. I know someone that spends 4-5 hours on them for about $30 return

I did one survey site for a while: opinion out post (I joined via survey scout), but never qualified for a single survey, and so I ended up giving it the axe. Although some sites like Inbox Dollars and My View seem to be somewhat promising. Do you know of any legit survey sites?

I think most of them run some sort of CPA offers, they will pay you $1-$10 to complete a "survey" but you have to sign up for a trial offer using their link of course; then your job is to complete the survey about your experience with that offer.
The rest of legitimate survey companies, give you some sort of prizes like points, discounts, etc. so no, not worth it at all.

Well that's funny, I just finished writing a blog post on paid surveys. I made a research and found that there are companies who are paying on time and don't play with the withdraw amount. At the same time I found a few websites which were not a company or something, just someone who tries to get money out of people. The fun part is that most of the scammers websites were on clickbank.

I think that the best option for you is to read other people's reviews and decide where you want to join.

    Hope that helps you,

Hi, this is my first post, but I think I can provide some insight.

1st off, never pay for any of these "membership" sites promising huge per survey fees.

2ndly, there are some legitimate programs out there, but for the time you have to invest, it's just not worth it. Even if you make $1 or $2 for a survey, you'll end up spending at least 45 minutes or more filling out monotonous information, and get extremely bored.

Here's a little story, I once was on one of these sites (can't remember) but I got a survey opportunity for $1 or $2 involving a pre-launch game. The game was Need For Speed Pro Street and basically I watched videos over and over and gave opinions to them about each one and my thoughts on the game.

While I love video games, the process became overbearing, because they asked you the same type of questions over and over after each video. Needless to say I completed the survey, but it took around 50 minutes and I haven't completed another since!

You can make money taking surveys, but it is time consuming and it won't be enough to live off of.

99.9% of surveys are simply cheap market research. Many firms that pay only do so on a small scale of $1-4 each and are available sparingly. Higher paying surveys require one to do additional activities such as mystery-shop for a local business, write reviews, etc usually in exchange for the cost of doing so (cost of a meal, a couple beers, etc.)

In my experience, I've only been paid for offline surveys sent through the US Mail. Again, we're talking a max of $5. No lucrative opportunities in surveys, especially not for the time they consume.

I've never had any luck with getting paid well for doing online surveys. Certainly not enough to make a living on.

I had a great offline mystery shopping gig for awhile though that paid me $20 to have lunch once a month at a local chain restaurant and they reimbursed me for the meal. It wound up being a great way for my wife and I to get away for lunch once a month and get paid in the process. The survey company folded and I've never seen anything like it since.

YES! You CAN make a lot of money with online surveys. Not by filing them out, but by running your own. People LOVE surveys (and they love Top 10 Lists), and surveys can drive lots and lots of traffic to your sites.

Most survey will pay a dollar or two at most, and many are scams. It's a nice way to earn some pocket money but you';ll never get a full income.

Yes, it's true that 90% of the sites that call themselves surveys are scams. Here is the problem, the other 10% of sites don't promote themselves nearly as much as the scams (they don't need to), so they just aren't as easy to find. Yes, there are real paid surveys.

I realize I am in the minority, but I happen to, evidently, have very good demographics for surveys. And so I qualify for them. A lot. And make pretty good money with them, too ($1000 each of the last few months). Again, I realize I am not the norm, but I am here to say that there are good sites out there that do pay, don't ask anything from you financially, won't waste hours of your time for $1-2, and can be rewarding. But it's not anything a person ever knows if it will work for them unless they have tried it.

YUP it is true. Opinion Outpost, Survey Spot, Pine Cone Research, Survey Savvy. Opinion outpost and survey savvy have referral programs where you can make money by referring others. Survey Savvys referral program is better.

I would also encourage anyone who wants to try surveys not to look for "the one or two best sites." You amount you make with surveys is absolutely tied to the number of sites you are with. For instance, I am active with 50 sites...and because of that, make the money I do. If I limited that to 1-2 sites, I would make 5-10% of what I do now. So surveys are definitely one of those area where what you earn is absolutely tied to who you are with...And the more the merrier

I wouldn't say they are scams, but it is very difficult to make the kind of money that they suggest you can. Some people may have a tough time qualifying for surveys, but that's usually because they haven't filled out the profiles in full...I know they're long and it's tedious, but it will increase the likelihood of getting accepted to surveys.

There are a ton of survey sites out there, and it is probably a good idea to avoid most of them and go with the sites that have been around for 5 years or more. My favourite has always been Survey Scout...on time payments and they accept a number of different countries.

Ive tried surveys as a means to make money online. The results are the same as everyone here has already stated. You can make money, but not enough.

Im starting to get into Affiliate Marketing to try and make a few bucks with that. Right now, Im learning the marketing part of it.

I should have asked before I started with surveys, would have saved time.
