Just recieved an email from a marketer promising me the american dream, trouble is I am not american, nor do I live in america. I was wondering if any american in here can tell me if its possible to live the american dream given the two points raised above. |

Yes. First, recounce your country. Second, get immigration visa for US. Third, wait 3 years for citizenship. Once you accomplish that you will an American. Your job will be outsourced, you will be required to pay taxes on world wide income and you will have to afford your own health care. So when are you coming over?

sure. With the money I make atm I am living pretty good in my country ~$2.5k per month witch mostly from affiliate programs. When I put my bigger plans into motion into 2009 I think I will reach around 6-7k a month if everything goes my way.. With that kind of money I can literally live in 80% luxury in my country, meaning: I can eat at a classy restaurant every day of the week...pay for a more bigger apartment, buy plasma tv's, xbox, ps3...almost what I want except cars and traveling alot. You can live the american dream if you have enough money to do it. Tho I suppose that it was "designed" to be lived in america right? So make loads of money and move in the USA..make even more there, retire, buy a boat and go sailing around the globe ![]() EDIT: I do hope that in the future I can move to USA...but only when I feel that my business can come with me and that I can afford to rent a flat or somethin |

I am not vouching for the marketer, but yes it is possible. The American Dream is simply a mindset of being able to come from nothing and be able to do whatever you want. So, Yes, you can have this mindset no matter where you are at. |

I've remembered something, can you take a business and move it in USA? Like if lets say in 5-6 years I wanna move to the US and I want to take my business with me, do I have to close it in my country and then re-open it in USA or can I just relocate it? Or it depends on my country's legislation?

I agree with others, that I think the American Dream is a mindset. It is an expression for living the American Dream. It means you can earn money, own a house, own land, enjoy the freedoms of being American.
