Faked WSO of the day crap

Perhaps it is just me, but it just ticks me off to get an email from someone about their new WSO and boldly using the words WSO of the day as the headline of the email... when clearly it is not.

Perhaps I am just upset that someone would flat out steal Mike Lantz credibility, and in doing so trying to steal my trust.

What makes this worse is that I have invested in this person previously, and they could have easily won me over without using this claim.

Of course I should mention that they used the wording "My WSO of the Day," but this is just as bad as claiming it without actually being it.

I'm not calling this person out in any way, but you have lost me as a customer permanently. Not the kind of stuff I expected from someone who wants to fit into this community.

I got the same email... I have previously bought two WSO from this person but did not decide to take him up on his "WSO of the day".

I thought it was kinda deceitful, but I'm sure he gots lots of opens.

I find it ironic since the terms being used also confuses people to think Allen and this forum recommended those offers.

Very true. I've been here long enough to know that Mike makes these endorsements, but others who are new, or maybe not regulars, might not.

I've seen at least one person put it in their WSO title when it wasn't true. I reported that as it was highly deceptive to me. I suppose there may be people who don't realize what the WSO of the Day designation means but I doubt there are too many once they've been around here for a bit.

I agree. I first thought that Allen was making these sponsorships...but soon found out this was not true.

If I release a WSO today, it will be my personal "WSO of the Day". Not that I would promote it that way, but it wouldn't be technically untrue if I did.

    Or...

What if I wanted to call it "The WSO of the Year"? Decade? Hour? Century? DAY?

I agree with Thomas on the irony. And no, I don't think a lot of people realize it's an unofficial designation.

    All the best,
    Michael
