How quickly do commissions show up in my Amazon Affiliate account?

Hi there.

I was wondering if anyone knew how quickly commissions show up in your amazon affiliate account.

I just did a test buy and it has not shown up yet.

Just wondering if I have done something wrong. Want to test whether my links are working.

    Purchases from today show up in tomorrow's report.

    And you shouldn't be buying things from your own links.

      I know about not buying through my links, thanks for the heads up though. I was just testing one through a friends account. I hope they don't bar me for the 0.49p commission that I made!

    They are updated once every 24 hours.

    If you purchase through your own link, you will receive credit for an ordered item, but you will not receive commission.

    I went to Amazon directly and bought something for myself. It still showed up in my affiliate sales (within 24 hours) so you're cookied somehow... not quite sure how it works.

    BUT... I wasn't paid commission on them.

    On a complete side note there is a link checker in Amazon so you can check your affiliate ID and the link is in good working order.
