Bluehost problem please help

I don't know where to post to have an immediate response so maybe other warriors can help. I am having trouble dealing with bluehost cpanel. I am trying to add a domain but unlike the normal cpanel, It is asking several details and finally I got an error : Invalid EPP authorization code

I researched about that error and I think I can't follow.. Is that really difficult to add a domain inside bluehost cpanel?

Thanks,
adie

          Hey there!

I was lurking in the forums and saw your question. Yes, this is a question for Bluehost, but I'll give you a quick tip.

If you're trying to transfer a website to another registrar, then you need something called an EPP code. This code should be readily available for you at your old registrar, and when you go into the domain manager at blue host, the EPP code your old registrar gives you should work.

If you're trying to add a domain that you don't already own, or have not registered yet, then you need to register the domain first, it will automatically show up in your domain manager, and you can choose to add it on to your account without the necessity of a EPP code.

For all of you guys starting up with hosting, and website creation, you should check out Host The Name.

here's another positive vote for bluehost's service. I've gotten quick email responses from them as well as some helpful phone calls.

Adding a domain should be easy as pie, it sounds like you have a very specific problem - just open up a ticket with them.
