Does Ad Swap exists outside Internet Marketing niche or what? ?

I am in the process of building my list inside the Weight Loss niche to start my own product in 1 or 2 months. However, I made a constatation after visiting 3-4 sites. Almost every site specialised in Solo Ads and Ad Swaps are only for IM.

It looks like everybody is going for that IM niche. Why do you think people don't prove themself before they try to teach it? I bet so many "gurus" never went outside that IM niche.

Where the hell do you look for Solo Ads and Ad Swaps outside IM niche? Do you know any specialized for weight loss?

it's true, i've been trying to find mainly women lists and it's tough. what you need to do is fine newsletters from weight loss type sites and ask to place an ad/dedicated in them. hopefully it won't be very pricey if it's not something they do often. but you'll have to have a top notch site otherwise they may not go for it.

It does exist but tougher to find. Try searching Google for ad swap and your niche. Your best bet is to go to Clickbank and check with the vendors to see if they have anyone looking for an ad swap.

Not the easiest task....but it seems that a lot of Fitness has MLM properties to it too....unfortunately, most Solo Ad providers won't allow MLM either.

Hi, just posted in another thread for similar stuffs. One way is manually search for the site owner doing similar niche You just have to google or search for them through clickbank. Then contacted them to see if they are willing to do solo ads for you.

In my opinion, if you are doing weight loss niche specifically into eating healthy meal, then you may find someone in exercising to slim down to have bu solo ads. This method at least help you to stop going against head to head with the solo ads seller. Just thought those that are not in internet marketing niche may not be as open into sharing the list. But of course there are always exception.

Hey, of course there are ad swaps exist outside the IM niche. Look at it this way, other people like you are trying to build a list for there niche that is not in the IM niche. So where there is people who are building lists, there are people wanting to do ad swaps, because they want fresh and new opt-ins.

You can find these people even on this forum, make a new thread on the JV part of the forum, and you should get a reply.

    Hope this helped.

      Hey man,

Yep, people outside the IM niche DO adswap.. I know, cos I've done it :-)

You won't find handy websites like safe-swaps or forums like imadswaps that will cover many other niches though, so you have to get a little creative. Here's some ideas for you...

      1) A lot of IMers have lists in a variety of niches. Contact people on here via the JV section asking if they are in your niche and want to adswap. Or do they know someone and you will do something in return to help them.

      2) Find 100s of sites in your niche (blogs, forums, product -selling sites) and reach out to them in the interests of "mutual benefit". Don't ask them if they want to "adswap" cos they'll probably think you are trying to sell them something, but ask them if they would be interested in cross-promotion. Then you can discuss banner-swaps, adswaps, thank-you page ads etc...

3 - and this I recommend the most - just go ahead and create the product first. Offer it to affiliates for 100% commission and work damn hard to get it converting well so the affilliates make a nice juicy EPC (earning per click). Then you wont need to worry about traffic or how to build a list because the affilliates will send you so much, you wont be able to handle it. You can always build a prospects list from exit-pops on the sales page, and sell other things to them via follow up emails. Oh and don't forget upsells and follow-up sales leading into high-ticket items to really start making the $ for both you and the affilliates.

Best of luck buddy, hope that helps.

    Yep agree, they definitely exist.

All you have to do is get involved in the communities where the affiliates for these niches hang out. I watched a video this morning with affiliate Ryan Magin talking about them.

You can find out more on Rusty Moore's fitness training blog where he has a lot of guys in the fitness, body building and weight loss niche.

'Solo Ads' seems to be a term for buying subscribers in the IM niche; go on any solo ad website and that's the only niche you'll see.

If you want to ad swap outside the IM niche though, you'll have to do it personally. Build up a relationship with other people around your level who also need a helping hand. Ask them if they'd like to swap a mail out, and see what they say. The process really is as simple as that.

If they don't know about the process, you might need to educate them. But in most niches, there are always a few IM smart people who may know about them already. If you can find these people you're good.

I have found some list owners who want to swap lists for non-IM niche areas. One good idea mentioned above is to follow the WF joint venture thread daily.

Here is a possible candidate right here in the WF:

    http://www.warriorforum.com/warrior-...g-ad-swap.html

If your list is smaller what you can do is offer multiple solos to your list in return for one solo in someone else's list (if it is larger and or more responsive) It all comes down to negotiating, thinking outside the square and persistence.

    Good luck buddy
