Need Reseller Hosting Suggestions

Hello all,

I need some suggestions on a reseller hosting account.

I need a reseller hosting plan that has
1. Unlimited CPanels
2. Unlimited Disk Space and Bandwidth
3. A client billing program
4. Under $100 per month

These don't have to be included at the basic plan.
I just want these to be options to be available. I know they are usually the best plan and the most expensive.

I have seen several options, but I am not familiar with all of them.

I am looking for suggestions, and have no problems signing up through an affiliate link. As long as it's an honest suggestion, and not just a suggestion to get an affiliate commission.

Hi, personally I have used Hostgator for a long time and had no problems
with them. I do know that their reseller program starts a lot lower than
$100pm and has everything you are asking for. I have always found their
help system to be excellent and quick too, which is a big plus.

I admit I have pm'd you my affil link, but do not mind whether you use it
or not. I really do like Hostgator, and think you would too.

Sorry, but you lost me at "unlimited" - particularly in relation to disk space and bandwidth (or data-transfer, as it could more accurately be described).

You will not find a web-host - whether as an end-user or a reseller - that is prepared (nor really capable) of offering unlimited disk space and data-transfer.

Some hosts may advertise both of these things as being "unlimited", but read their Terms of Service and they'll stipulate "unlimited up to <whatever>", or "subject to a fair-use policy of <whatever>", or they will limit disk space (as HostGator do) by enforcing a file-size limit and restricting the number of files ("inodes") you're allowed to have in your account.

If you can be more realistic about what you need (and let's be honest - no-one needs unlimited capacity), then I or someone else could better advise you.

There is no such thing as Unlimited Disk Space and Bandwidth, especially if you want a reseller account. If there is I would like to host millions of websites into it. 'Unlimited' is just a marketing word. If you read the TOS, then you will understand that they limit you in other area

I agree, be careful with "unlimited."

Bandwidth and Disk Usage. FatCow provides Users with bandwidth, disk space and other resources, such as e-mail and/or file-transfer-protocol ("FTP") accounts, the amount of which is defined in FatCow's web pages describing the package of Services purchased at the time of purchase. In some cases, FatCow may not establish a specific amount of bandwidth, disk space and other resources, and refer to that as "Unlimited". In all cases, the Services are intended for normal use only, and any activity that results in excessive usage that is inconsistent with normal usage patterns is strictly prohibited. FatCow reserves the right to suspend, discontinue or delete the accounts of Users whose use of disk space, bandwidth or other resources results in or presents the risk of degradation of service to other customers, regardless of the amount of disk space, bandwidth or other resources included in the User's plan. User agrees that such usage shall not exceed the amounts set by FatCow for the Services purchased (the "Agreed Usage") and is additionally subject to normal usage guidelines established by FatCow as in effect from time to time. These allotments are optimized and dedicated towards serving the Content and User's active electronic mail services related solely to User's web hosting account(s) with FatCow.

Everyone I talk to uses HostGator for their reseller accounts. I think they are the most competitive while still being reliable!

    Thanks for that clarification.

I did not read the "Fine Print" for the unlimited usage part but that makes sense to me.

I need a hosting provider that will allow me to host 100 websites or so.
Not just one page sites, but fully functioning sites for businesses.

I would be willing to buy another reseller account after I filled the first with the 100 sites.

    I hope this makes sense.

Put me down as another satisfied HostGator reseller customer. I have never looked for a client billing program there - ritaj, where did you find that? I am at the Aluminum level - $25 a month and I just pay yearly.

Here's a tip for getting the technical support you need. Never call them, always open a support ticket. You will get the right answers the first time that way. After about six months as an internet marketer I began to notice I often knew more than any of their staff answering the phone. If it is an immediate need, then use their chat.

Both of these provide a written record to which you can refer later. Sometimes that matters...

Here is another vote for HostGator. I use them also to host all of my accounts/websites, but I have never tried to sell hosting to other people on my account.

    From their resellers page:

Free WHMCS or WHM AutoPilot Client Management / Billing software

I'm sure it's in there somewhere.

One thing that has always worried me about offering hosting is the tech support my customers would want and need. I don't think HG is going to provide the support for your customers.
