Open New Page or not

Hi!

What is the best between open affiliate link into a new page or not into a review website?

    I'm not quite sure what you are asking, but I think it's this. Are you asking if your affiliate link should open directly to the affiliate sales page, or should it open to a review?

    If that is the question it depends on where your affiliate link is. If your affiliate link is on a article that is on an article directory, then it should not open directly to the sales page, but rather a squeeze page or review, like you said.

    If your affiliate link is on your website, then you can have it go directly to the sales page if you want, but hopefully you are doing some kind of pre-selling on your web page first.

      Thanks for your reply.

      Now when you click on a Amazon affiliate link, the browser open a new window (target=_blank).

      Should i remove the target blank?

        When I use amazon or any link that goes outside my own website, i use open in new tab or window, which is what that does I think. I used wordpress so it just give me a choice in a dropdown box when putting in links. The reason you want to open in new page is so that your website will still be up on their browser too. Because if they don't like what they see at amazon, they will most likely still read something else on your site, or look for a different link to follow.
