Contribute useful posts and put the link in your signature.

It is sad to see how many people will post a sentence and then a link to their offer or something.

Just contribute to the discussion and become a well-known member.

As said above, put your offer in your signature and post genuine, interesting posts. Build a reputation.

    Or

Pay $40 for a WSO or buy a Banner Ad for $100/day.

Does banner drive more traffic than forum posting?

Sure does. Got to have a good offer that people are interested in but it does drive traffic to your offer.

Yes definitely create good posts, develop relationships with other posters and then there is no problem.

Simply become part of the community and your posts won't looks like spam at all. Also blatant self promotion usually brings down the ban-hammer...

Ever heard that phrase, to be truly successful you need to be come an authority (expert) on something? That applies here.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

People are always searching for profitable opportunities in forum. If forum owners allow reputed and profitable information to be posted in signatures, this will increase the website traffic of the forum and they will earn good money from advertisements.

Profitable information is not spam because you are helping people by sharing information.
Just be conservative. When in doubt, don't.

"Profitable information" is much like beauty, it is in the eye of the beholder. And one man's profitable information could be easily perceived as spam by others.

Build your reputation in the forum as someone who really knows their stuff, and use links sparingly. Then, when you do link to something, the other members will give it more consideration and be more likely to follow the link.

Even if links are allowed in your signature, you may want to establish yourself in that forum before putting links in the sig. Nothing is more irritating to a community than to see a new member with a very few posts having a sig full of MMO links. If they've never seen you before, but see you have 100+ posts, they will be less likely to assume you are spamming their forum.

        Just my two cents.

True that you just need to contribute and give useful information. Same for blog sites as well.
