This requires a bit of html coding. I'll make it easy for you since I do image links in all of my ads. Here is my ad:
Bookmark the Date for Your Wedding

Just view the source code for where the image is and copy/paste it, then change the image and link to your own with the URL.

Good above ^ but if you have a wordpress blog you can lay it out in design mode or visual or whatever it's called and then click on the html tab and copy and paste from there. Just a thought...

It still doesn't work. is the code on line 60? That's the code I used.

    is this the code:

    <ahref="http://www.wedding-favor-bookmarks.com/save-the-date-bookmarks.html" target="_new" rel="nofollow"><imgsrc="http://www.wedding-favor-bookmarks.com/images/save-the-date-ad.jpg"></a>

yes, but you need a space between the a and the href as well as between the img and src.

I tried that it still didn't work. I even copied the exact code just to see if it worked and for some odd reason it didn't work on mine. And this is his code which clearly shows the image on his ad but not mine. Strange, I don't understand it.

Or do what he just said... ROFL

I just started using WP so that didn't even occur to me. I've been doing html coding for so long that it's just second nature.

That's the code! As mentioned by mikeroosa, though, you need some spaces:

    <a href="replace-with-your-url.com"><img src="replace-with-your-img-location-url.jpg" /></a>

    That should do it!

Very odd. I don't know. I use the same code over and over in my ads; I just replace the page it's linking to and the image location.

Try this -copy/paste the code into Notepad first. By doing that, you're removing any possible hidden formatting codes from any other source because Notepad is pure text.

After you change the links in the code in Notepad, copy it from Notepad directly into the craigslist ad box and see if that works.

Outside of that, I don't know what to tell you.

You can also use Tumblr(dot)com to get htm for a clickable image Ad.

    For Tumblr(dot) instruction

copy the image URL to the image you want to post

    Go to your dashboard

click Text < text icon >

click the image icon ( the one look like a tree )

and insert image URL < click insert >

and you can now see the image

hightlight the image by clicking it.

click the hyperlink icon ( the one look like a chin)

insert the URL you want to link to the image < click Insert >

Now you can Get the html code by clicking the HTM icon at the right side.

copy all the code and ready to paste to CL or Backpage.

    Hope This Help.

If you upload your image to photobucket, you will get an html code that you can use to make your image clickable on craigslist.
