Have any of you had luck with flyers on college campuses?

I've been looking around at different options on fiverr and I've noticed quite a few people that are willing to post flyers on their college campus. Has anyone used a service like this? If so, how did it workout for you?

    Offline Marketing can be very effective if you do it right. As far as college campuses, that would be a great demographic to distribute fliers to for Fiverr. It's a cheap investment for a potential good return

      I was thinking that it really can't hurt, it's $5. Even if that $5 only made one sale it's not a bad deal.

    You can try it but I had no success. The person even gave me proof that they posted 50 flyers around their college campus. I mean did they photoshop it or something? IDK!
    I just think that if you try it for long enough you can succeed no doubt.

    It would obviously depend on the offer.

    I would be interested to know how they set up the flyer: Just a domain name, or maybe the small rip-off tags?

      I did one of these on fiverr with a free iphone email submit. I got some traffic from it, but no conversions.

      Just make sure to use a sub id so you can track it. Set up a .info redirect or something.

    Flyers are effective but you have to make sure they are going to the right places. We hand them out door-to-door all summer long.
