can anyone help me with some google keyword tool advice

hi,i'm wanting to understand google keywords,and understand the figures a bit better.
when i type in some keywords im looking to use, in exact matches,ones coming up with 7000 searches a month with low competition, but when i click on the words and look in google,its coming up with 58 million results. whats the ideal figures for everything.

    Hi Ray,

    The competition given in Google Keyword Tool is not the SEO competition. People often get confused with this. The competition in the Google Adwords Keyword Tool indicates the competition among advertisers. If more people advertise for that specific keyword, the competition will increase and as a result, the Estimated Average CPC will also increase. It does not have anything to do with the search results.

    I think you do not need to care about the 58 millions result but you absolutely need to care about 10 or 20 first result because they are your real competitor

      ive just got to get my keywords sorted as ive got a great product on my site and want to get more sales. ive just had 3 from new zealand,california and switzerland so a wide range of countries,i just want to get it out more.
      im quitting my builder soon and moving to another to make it better.
