Hey guys!

My website is complete and uploaded, and now I'm preparing for adwords split test.

My Problem: Since it's my first website, I have no plan about split tests.

I have made this thread because I'm looking for an indepth guide about it. I'm willing to pay for it, if there is crucial information for me.

I hope you can help me.

greetz,

The most important thing is to change ONE element at a time.

This could be design, layout, colors, font type or size, and, of course, copy.

I typically start with the headline for a few tests, and then move on from there.

I agree, another thing worth trying is testing radically different pages.

On sales pages for example I'll write one version myself with logic based copy and then my copywriter will do one with trash/tabloid copy -- I'll test both against each other

Make a custom channel for each of your ad blocks. That way you can see how each performs separately.
