ecommerce for mobile?

I am still seeing lot of people trying to start out in websites world.

I would suggest, look into mobile world. Android. iPhone. Blackberry. Windows Phone.

Build the ecommerce mobile app, instead of ecommerce website.

5 years from now, who do you think people will be using? mobile apps or your bulky website?

      Yes, but that's like mainframes will never completely go away. Would you rather build something for expanding market or shrinking market?

    Mobile is definitely the future. Both Facebook "The World Mall" and mobile will take over eCommerce. Websites will still function as the home port but it will have it's place behind mobile. Mobile is like the taxicab from the airport to your destination.
