Wordpress login problem

Anyone know where the login username and password is located? I seem to have locked myself out of the admin area dashboard I can't get it by email retrieval as well.

    Had the same problem a while back
    Contacted my Host and they sorted it in 20min.

    Here is a way to get back your access to the WordPress site.

    1) Go to a WordPress where you KNOW the username and password.

    2) Write down that info. (And if you don't have another WordPress site,
    just do an installation somewhere.)

    3) Now log into that site's phpMyAdmin

    4) Click on the database of that particular installation (in phpMyAdmin)

    5) Click on wp_users

    6) Now see fields for the User ID (in user_login) and the Password (in user_pass).

    7) The password is encrypted. That's why I had you write it down earlier. NOW copy that encrypted password into the phpMyAdmin > wp_users > user_pass of the site you are locked out of. Take note of user ID as well.

    8) Save

    9) Now go and log into the site you are locked out of (using the password of the other site where you copied its encryption)

    There may be an easier way to do this

        I've not been into my Wordpress account/website in a very long time and WP apparently reset passwords last June.

        In the meantime my email box was closed down by the host due to spam attacks so I can't reset the password as the Wordpress emails go to the closed email box.

        I've found that I'm also unable to login to the WP Forums.

        Any idea how I can contact Wordpress to sort this out?
