Very new to the warrior forum, trying to decide on a niche

Hello I have just joined the warrior forum and so far I like what I see

Everyone seems to be very helpful and straightforward. Was just hoping for a little advice? I am currently in the process of deciding which niche I will primarily focus on, and am leaning towards weight loss and general well-being. If anyone in this type of niche has any advice I would greatly appreciate it! Also anyone who would like to recommend another field to me your opinions would be highly valued too.

Thanks for your time

Just make sure it's a big one... making money, diets and relationships or health.

You can always delve deeper into each niche to whatever interests you most or you feel you'll stick with.

    Hi Molly!

    Awesome, welcome to IM

As Big Al said, you can't go wrong when choosing from one of those. People always want to make money, be healthy, and find love... tie it into what you enjoy doing, and voila!

Hello, for me, i made my first sale on tangible product, very easy to find the targeted traffic.

Maybe it's better for you to go for tangible product first..

    Hi Molly,

Welcome to the forum. There's a lot you can do with the topic of weight loss. It's usually better to narrow your niche to something more focused - such as weight loss after pregnancy or losing weight if you're over 40 for example - rather than a very broad topic like general weight loss.

The most important thing is to choose a direction and go with it. You'll learn as you go.

    Good luck!

    Hi:

    Shireen here :-)

This is a very subjective question, maybe you can run a search on clickbank on various topic ie: make money, relationship, health or diet.

You'll get some ideas on what people want the most :-)

use trigger words with your keyword tool.

instead of just searching for a niche within weight loss or money.

    instead just use words like:

    find
    delete
    replace
    learn
    tutorials

these words (among others) will open up a whole new world to you that is non competitive and fun to market in.

    enjoy

Try working your way through The Challenge at The Challenge . It's free, and helps you go step by step through the process of keyword and market research in order to pick a niche.

It looks like your targeting a highly competitive market..Do you have other niche to fall back on? Just incase this niche won't work for you?
It's hard to recommend someone a good niche as it might not interest you at all.
The easy way to find a niche is something you love to do or something reflects back to your hobby or from your own life/work experiences. Focus on those and later on an idea/niche will come up.

I started with weight loss niche for one simple reason. My brother is professional fitness trainer and works with many specialists for diets etc.

So right now we are creating a product in that niche. He will make the e-book, I will set up everything else.

This will be my (our) first product. It`s really hard to decide with what to start. My opinion is that you should go for a big and competitive niche, but the product and everything must be perfect. There`s just not enough buyers in small niche. Maybe it`s good for unexperienced beginners to try it and see how things go, but on a long term it`s not good. (just my thinking)

i agree with people that say to try and pick something you're interested in. if you pick something that bores you to death, you'll give up pretty quickly, or it'll feel like writing and researching is taking forever! don't do it.

    good luck

Hello Molly - Welcome to WF! I hope you get a lot out of the information here and it starts you on the road to your success.

In terms of your niche, I think that weight loss is a great general topic, as so many people are conscious about the appearance, but to get the best results, you might want to narrow it down a bit further.

What about looking at diets for pensioners or students? Both of those groups have their own specific concerns that they might want to be addressed (ie lack of money for students) and your product/site/blog could come in and take over that sub-niche. It's just a thought but I hope it helps!

If you want to focus on the weight loss niche, then I recommend taking a specific angle.

Herbs, Oils and natural Remedys for example.

If you want a profitable niche which you can jump on right now? -> Black Seed Oil is your niche

I agree choose a more specific niche. Weight niche products are highly converting. I made my first sale in relationship niche and I am still making sales from it. Try to rank higher in SE's if you want to have free traffic.
