Looking to sell ads on my site, any suggestions on companies

:confused:Hi, im new here and wanted to sell ad space on my site, i signed up for publishermedia and it looks like a great deal, you place banners on your site people can click them and setup the ads you and then approve or decline the ads and you get full 100% of the revenue through paypal. For a while i didn't have any biters, and just when i have someone who wants to purchase a banner the site goes under, "We are currently under maintenance..."... please check out publisher media and please let me know of any company that is similar in operation i really want to make money selling ad space other than google's adsense...

    Have a look on Forums. On Digital point you can sell your advertising space and you don´t have to pay a listing fee. As long as your site has some traffic you should be able to sell some ads there.

      I make a nice passive income from advertisers on my site so I can offer this advice:

      there are ad buyers in Digital Point forums...good buyers. But be prepared to prove you have traffic to your site and hopefully your site has some Page Rank also.

      the higher the Page Rank and traffic, the more you can charge.

      Offer a 3 month, 6 month, and yearly price. That has always worked for me...

      the other important thing is this: be fussy who advertises on your site, make sure the companies advertising on your site complement your niche. So, for example, if your site is about web design, then you would want web hosting or SEO advertisers. That way the ads benefit your readers.

      Limit the ads...that way it doesn't look like your site is just ads. I would sell text link ads rather than banner ads so that your site doesn't start to look too cluttered.

      If you do this right, you could be looking at a nice consistent passive income stream.

      Yes, you can advertise your own products in your sig file. You might want to read the rules of the forum again.

      You might also want to look at Ad network | Buy and sell ads | Buy & Sell ads | Buy ads | Sell ads It is a newer ad network that may be of assistance to you.

      u have to make sure your site is worth it - the people on this forum are pretty sharp, so it could be harder finding ad buyers from here than from a regular forum
