Document sharing or article marketing?

Hi Warriors,

I am planning to drive traffic from document sharing sites.

Which do you think it is better to rely on document sharing sites or article marketing sites?

Do these sites accept duplicate content, i.e. can I write an article for articles sites and then use the same for document sharing?

    Why not use both of them . Because , article marketing and document sharing both work.

    You can first submit to article directories and them compile your articles , create a document and submit the document sharing sites .

      My answer is also both.

      Rely on nothing. Get links from everywhere, using all available methods. That is a game plan that will provide the best results for you.

    Hello, what are the best document sharing sites. For now im using:

    Docstoc
    Issuu - You Publish
    authorSTREAM Online PowerPoint Presentations and Slideshow Sharing
    Calaméo
    edocr | Sales leads generation through document share
    Upload & Share PowerPoint presentations and documents
    SlideBoom - upload and share rich powerpoint presentations online

    But im eagor to use more of them. So does anybody use some other and wich are the best (best ranking?)

    Both...First your site, then article directories, then document sites.

    If you are running Wordpress, the PDF Creation Station plugin works awesome...

    Just treat the Doc sharing sites like article directories. Why say you'll only do one or the other?

      Yep - don't "rely" on either of them. Use both and diversify even more to other websites in your niche!

    Content diversity is important. Different groups in your target audience may prefer various content types. Some may prefer reading formal articles over viewing videos. Others may prefer viewing slideshow presentations over ebooks. A few may wan to read ebooks over articles. Some may prefer write-ups with the author's personal touch, so they want to read blog posts. With these diverse preferences: We could expect each group to go to different online places for their content needs...

    As long as you own full exclusive rights to any type of content, i.e. articles, ebooks, presentations and videos: You can publish them on any online or offline place that accepts content contributions from authors/content developers...

      I think you get the point. Just get your content out there as much as you can. You may want to think about squidoo, hubpages, blogger, and others as well.
