A Newbies' business plan - feel free to comment, I just want to know if I'm on the right track.
I plan to create 1 new website a week, promoting Clickbank products. (I've got some experience creating sites in the online casino industry, but the competition has proved too great, and having spent $5000+ on SEO, I'm looking for pastures new.) For each site, I am looking to spend $200 - $300 max. on some of the SEO services offered here. I'm expecting (hopeing) that each site will make an average of $1000 a year.
So, my questions to you good folk are -
Is $200 - $300 of SEO going to get my websites anywhere?
Is $1000 a year for a well optimised, micro-niche site realistic?

You have a good plan, I would only suggest you to set a limit of the websites you will create. 5-6 can be good, but more than 10 - and you can get overwhelmed. Even if you outsource everything, there are many things to work on. You can get 5 sites up, and when you have a good stream of visitors, start another set.

As for the SEO budget - depends on what you will outsource, and for how many sites.

$1000 a year for a site - very realistic, most of the niche sites will make more if you have steady traffic.

I agree with Alex. I started with a bunch of sites myself, but after you get about 10 or so, you start to lose track of things and then all the sites suffer.

$200 to $300 of SEO services per month? Yes. if done correctly: Those SEO services could provide good results...

$1K/year of net affiliate commission profits per website? Yes. If done correctly: You could earn more than $1K/year per website, from affiliate commissions...

I'm assuming extensive market research and analysis has been done at this point. This means profitable industries, micro industries, niches, micro niches and buyer keywords are available. In my opinion:

I'd initially focus on building diverse, unique high quality onsite content for one website. Why diverse content? Most of my target viewers may prefer reading articles than viewing slideshow presentations. Some may want to read materials with a personal touch over formal articles, so they want blog posts. A few may want to read ebooks than articles or blog posts. Some may prefer viewing videos than reading articles, ebooks or blog posts. A few may want to view slideshow presentations than videos...

What is unique content? Unique content is content integrated with the author's own relevant sets of observations, inferences, test results, actual experience, theories, opinions and perspectives. Unique content is developed in the author's own writing style, packaged in ways not found elsewhere...

What is high quality content? High quality content is content aimed at providing a specific target audience with benefits in the form of info, advice, tips, strategies and techniques useful for satisfying their immediate needs and solving their urgent problems...

After building the onsite content of my website and its beneficial freely downloadable material upon mailing list signup: I'd start developing diverse, unique high quality offsite content for my traffic generation and funneling campaigns...

My offsite content should function as good previews to more benefits offered by my website...

My freely downloadable material upon mailing list signup should function as a good preview to more benefits offered by the affiliate products I review and recommend, on my onsite content pages and mailing list updates...

Once I see improved traffic results on my first website: I'd use the $200 to $300 per month budget to balance onsite and offsite content development campaigns for my first website and the second one next in my list...

Once I get income from my first website and improved traffic results on my second website: I'd use the income of my first website to fund the onsite and offsite content development campaigns for my third website, and so on until I have a lot of websites steadily earning constantly increasing monthly profits...

I m sorry but why spend 300 $ on seo services when you can so it yourself if you buy the right tools? Seriously... if I was you I ll value the possibility to buy tools like Scrapebox and SEnuke or other similar and create my own scheme that I can apply and re-apply when I want! I developed a System that I just rinse and repeat and tools like Scrapebox and SEnuke help me a lot to spend less and less time on my pc! Think about it ! And with 200 300 $ spend every month your websites should produce more than 1K year ... much more.

Thanks for the advice, it's very much appreciated. I've looked at SENuke, does anyone know of a guide along the lines of 'SEnuke for dummies''?
By the way, if anyone can get my online casino affiliate website SEO'd properly, let me know. Having spent countless hours on the thing, and $5000 on SEO for no results really hurts, I'm reluctant to give it up, but can't throw money at it.
