duplicate content on feeder sites

Hi,

I'm currently setting up some feeder sites and have a question about duplicate content...

How many sites could I have with the same articles on before it has adverse effects due to duplicate content?

I am having articles uploaded to each feeder site with the same keyword in the article titles as I've used in each feeder site's URL but the body text is essentially the same - will that be ok?

Thanks,

Rob

Personally I wouldn't even put duplicate content on ONE site, much less several "feeder" sites.

No, indeed. I wouldn't want it on one site, either.

As Heraclitus said: you can't step into "the same" river once.

Rob, I think this thread will help you, if you give it a careful read.

And it might be good to think about all those huge, international authority sites 99% of whose content is syndicated news stories from Reuters and Associated Press - doesn't seem to be a problem for them?

I just realized you said they were on different URLs. Then that shouldn't be a problem. I thought you were having backdoor pages of duplicate content.

I still wouldn't have duplicate content on feeder sites, unless you were not trying to get higher search rankings. If all you want to to advertise, then by all means go for it.
