which affiliate link strategy to choose?
I have a website providing gift certificate templates for small businesses (giftcertificatefactory.com), and I'd like to diversify the revenue stream with affiliate links.
The target businesses are spas, salons, massage therapists, restaurants, hotels, ... quite a few actually.
I've thought of targeting each segment with a dedicated affiliate section, for example, spa owner affiliate links for spa gift certificate templates, hotel owner affiliate links for hotel owners etc.
The problem with doing that is that it would be very fragmented, since each certificate gets only a small number of visitors individually. And I'm not sure if I want to keep up with 30 or 40 affiliate programs.
What's the best strategy for that? Is it possible to join an affiliate network so I have to deal with only one partner? Or is it better to join an affiliate program targeting small business owners in general?
