Seven Character Traits of Successful People

Have you ever wondered why some people are successful and some aren't?

I believe that all successful people have seven character traits that make them successful, and if you want to be successful you need to have them also.

!) They are hard working
Success takes hard work and people who are willing to do it.

2) They are honest
Those who are successful long-term are the honest ones. Dishonest people may get the first sale, but honest people will get all the rest.

3) They persevere
Successful people outlast everyone else!

4) They are friendly
Have you noticed that most successful people are friendly and people oriented? This endears them to others and enables them to lead others to accomplish the task.

5) They are lifelong learners
Successful people are people who stretch themselves and grow continually, learning from all areas of life, including from their mistakes.

6) They over-deliver
The old statement of under-promise and over-deliver became famous because it made a lot of people successful, inclusing Bill Gates.

7) They seek solutions in the face of problems
Problems are opportunities to do the impossible, not just complain. Successful people are the ones who find solutions.

So which of these do you possess and which ones do you need to work on?

#7 is definitely a trait of successful people I've known in my life. They focus on fixing and improving, not on wallowing or despairing in the face of a setback. Good list!

    Hi Davidoriol1986,

Interesting post. I think there is something else too - BEING ORGANIZED and HAVING A PLAN.
It can be a whole book about this subject, maybe you will do it.
    All the best.

Another trait is that they take action quickly. Successful people make decisions fast, and don't get bogged down by the sting of procrastination.

For me, #3 is the talent I try to teach those getting into this space first (perseverance).

You must keep going, no matter how down you feel, no matter how hard it is, no matter what setbacks you encounter.

You must continually throw yourself into the tree-chipper regardless of the pain.

Perseverance is extremely important in Internet Marketing, and if you can find the courage and will to keep going, you abolutely WILL succeed.

Focus. That's always been one of my toughest obstacles to overcome. Just one look at the WSO section shows how easy it is to deviate from course.

      This is TRUE.

I've learned it from the most successful people I've seen
in my life...to not "lose your cool" just because you lost
a few hundred of thousands of dollars or because you're
screwed out of a deal...or because it didn't sell as well as
you thought it would on the first try...

a REAL entrepreneur pushes forward and find SOLUTIONS
to THEIR own problems first BEFORE they can think about
getting paid for helping others solve theirs.

The sooner you EMBRACE problem solving in YOUR life, the
EASIER it is to make money

      Also, TRUE.

The more I trusted my instinct to take specific actions,
the more money I made, the more people I served, and
the happier I was with decisions I made because some-
how they almost always worked out...even if not at 1st.
