At a Cross Roads- What Would You Do?

I have $62 in my PayPal account due to a happy accident where I was supposed to pay a freelancer via PP but figured it would be faster to pay them in cash in person. I'm thinking about using some of that money to run a WSO.

The reason I'm thinking about running a WSO is I'm in a financial rough spot right now and was laid off last month. I may need the $40 for a rainy day but the WSO I'm thinking of running may not create any return if I decide to actually post one. Some people make money with them but a lot of people do not. If I don't make a profit I'll regret it later. I don't have money to waste and frankly can't afford uncertainty.

Sorry if this seems like I'm promoting a future WSO- I'm not. I don't even know if I'm going to run one. I have ideas of what to offer but maybe this isn't the best idea right now... I just need input from others as what to do as I have two guys on my shoulders who are fighting with each other.

    Is your WSO any good?

Could you shift your thinking from "I am thinking of running a WSO as I am in a financial rough spot" to " I am going to run this as a WSO because dozens, nay, hundreds of Warrior members will greatly benefit from it"?

You can't afford uncertainty? then you can't afford to live. The only certainty are taxes and death.

    Let me help you :

Send me your WSO, if I think it would be of benefit to the warrior readers ,I'll pay for your WSO. You will need to pay me back from your sales, if you don't make enough from the sales to cover the 40$ I'll take the loss.

If I think your WSO needs work or worse, is a pile of poo , I will send it back to you and say so.

    What do you say ?

If the WSO is good you will make your money back and then some. On the other hand: I review WSOs every day and you would not believe how many are not worth the imaginary paper they are written on and subsequently the author makes nothing.

But you can test how a WSO would work:

Start a thread that covers the topic and see how many people jump on it. Make sure that you do not use it to pre-sell a WSO. But gauging the interest and response is completely fine.

I can't say I know much about WSO's but if it's solely a money making one (not like link building/SEO), could you yourself implement it to make some income, and then go out and promote it as well? This may help with insight.

In the past week or so I've taken more action than I have ever before and done more things to try to lift myself up out of this dire financial situation:

Posted gigs on every fiverr site I could find
-marketed my web design skills on Craigslist
-bid on about 100 or so jobs on Freelancer related to my core strengths
-contacted business owners via email about boosting their ranking on Google and other offline ventures

but my bank account is still the same, actually it's less than it was a week ago- hovering around the $50 mark. Very frustrating to say the least.

I can write well, in fact I'm an expert author at Ezine Articles, college educated, I know have value and knowledge to offer someone so I don't know what is going on... Maybe I'm not doing enough or marketing myself aggressively enough- I have been working 8 hours a day on this so I must be doing something wrong. I need to get money on my PayPal account this week otherwise minimum account balance penalty fees will eat up the money I do have. (And to maintain my financial sanity)

I'm sorry if this seems like desperate begging, whining or like I'm somehow "weak" but I have to vent. Some of you know what I'm talking about because you've been where I am now (or worse) and got yourself through it somehow. Between job hunting (employers have no idea how bad this economy is) and my IM efforts I'm at a loss of what else to do. I wouldn't wish financial stress like this on my worst enemy.

This is a temporary bump in the road but right now it feels more like a nosedive straight off a cliff. I'm not giving up; I have to do something afterall.

Take TPFLegionaire up on his offer. It's very generous, and if he says your WSO idea sucks, shoot me a PM, and I'll try to help you come up with one that integrates with your core strengths.

I took TPFLegionaire up on his offer and am working with him currently. My initial idea of an offer wasn't one he thinks would be a good one, so we're trying to come up with something else.

The thing that's incredibly frustrating this is I live in one of the financial capitals of the world, where millions are made and traded everyday and yet I'm struggling and have a double digit bank account... There's a lot of offline possibilities here but I need to craft my approach better as I'm getting too many people who will "think about it" and never get back to me.

Walking in cold is out too as my experience so far with most business owners in this city have heard it all and just want you to buy something. I have some success so far with offline services but you'd think an internet marketer in New York wouldn't be in my position...

I can't do this alone (nor should I) This is a bit like a barn raising to pull people and resources together to help everyone achieve what they need to get done. If anyone has anyone else has an other ideas or advice let me know or PM me.
