Taxes! What's the easiest way people??

Just want to do a little review on taxes to get basic feedback from warriors..

The deadline for us this year is April 18th, not the fifteenth...

So you report all internet income for 2010 right??

So..

-Clickbank Income
-Paypal Income (which for me came from squidoo sites)

I didn't receive any 1099 forms etc from clickbank but I made just under 1000 last year.. So I'm going into the tax place to get this done...

Anything I need to do besides telling them how much I made for clickbank and paypal in 2010???

Just track all money you make, all money you spend (expenses), and categorize as income or expenses

Then toss it in front of the accountant and let them sort it out, that's what I like to do

If you're generating decent money and have a lot of stuff to keep track of, something like Quickbooks Online can help a lot, and all you need to do come tax time is fill out the accountants worksheet and give them the login info for Quickbooks, easy. A spreadsheet works fine too.

Print out any statements you have and bring them in with you.

I'd get an accountant. There's all sorts of stuff you can deduct. ... You can learn about it all, or you can just pay somebody $100-200/year to do it all for you. It's very basic stuff to them (well, mostly, sometimes they might be thrown by internet type business like buying domains, etc. -- which the IRS hasn't even defined yet) ... I just pay it, as my accountant also keeps up with the ins and outs of all the little stuff that changes every year.

Yes...Going to a good tax accountant.
Will be a lot cheaper than Uncle Sam asking you questions.
