Hey guys,

for example, for lets say I have a website that is about how to make your own solar panels?

I want to write a bunch of articles, but what should I name the articles ?

What is a good process to use in figuring out what to name your articles?

Just some suggestions, but feel free to fill in the blanks:

The Secrets of ______ For ________

    Four Surefire Ways To ___________

What Never To Do When __________

    Secrets Revealed: How To ______________

Secrets of ______________ Quickly and Easily

    A _________'s Guide To ____________

How To _____________, Even If You Have No Experience

...the most important thing is creating a catchy headline. Some of the above are just that, in my opinion. Feel free to play around with them and see what you come up with.

Cool! Thats a really cool idea, thanks!

So those would be good titles for making articles about a product linked back to my site?

        Totally!

At the end of the article, just say something along the lines of:

"If you are interested in learning even more secrets about [insert you niche here], please visit my website dedicated to the subject at www....."

That should do the trick, pending the fact that you have written high-quality articles that successfully pull at the emotional strings of the readers.

In addition to advice given above, you want to include your keywords in your article title.

For example, if you've done keyword research and found 10 keywords you want to target, you would want to write an article for each keyword and these keywords should appear in your title and sprinkled throughout your article.

I agree with Rambrose... preferably towards the front of the title and as close to the beginning of the first sentence of your article as possible without coming off phony or making it feel like you're forcing those words in there.

Try to make your titles interesting since this will be your first impression and maybe the only chance that you have of getting your article read.

I often read other article titles to see what catches my eye and for ideas when I get stale. If an article title makes me want to read it then there is a good chance that it's going to make others want to read it also. I also often just write a bunch of article titles if I get in a groove and then write the articles later using the old format that they taught you in school.

The forum in general has a lot of good information on this topic and the copywriting forum is also a good place to learn about such things.

I totally agree with T. Lee with one exception. I think you have to make your resource box work harder to get the click. You might offer something free ... "if you like what you read here, you'll love my FREE report titled (whatever) .... CLICK here to get your free copy, etc. so the link to your site is in the resource box twice.

If you don't have something to give away, you can end a sentence in the middle with a Keep Reading link to your site. The sentence you "interrupt" should be a teaser so your reader has a strong reason to click on the Keep Reading or Continued link. For example, the best way to beat this by far is this secret I discovered ... Keep reading.

Finally, you can promise some special or "secret information" if they go to your site.

      I hope this helps.

Just another tip I picked up from a pretty good article marketer. Start the title with your keyword than add something clever.

        For example,

Article Marketing - Why You'll Never Need Another Traffic Source

Forum Marketing - Make Big Bucks Helping Others

        Hope that helps.
