Adsense Income, Is It Reliable?

Are there any warriors that rely on adsense as their main income source?

If so how many websites do you have?
Is the content all unique?
Do you auto load the sites with rss feeds or other content?
How many visitors come to the sites daily?

I have had my own success with adsense, but always worry that placing all my eggs in one basket could burn me in the end.

Anyone feel similar to this idea?

    Hi Candace,

I know there are a lot of folks out there that do just that. Speaking for myself I have earned a whopping $3.93 in Adsense revenue and that sum has stood there as if it were encased in concrete even though I have written enough content to fill a dump truck.

If you have a good thing going here, can you repeat it?

    Just a thought.

It's possible to make a killing with Adsense. The key is to concentrate
on one site and make it huge content site with unique content. Don't
try to create 50 sites with some PLR articles. That won't work anymore
and if it still does then it will be soon crushed by Google. You can actually
get suspended from Adsense for AMS (Adsense Made Sites)

Build a huge social content sites and you could easily pull 7 figures
    from Adsense.

Joel Comm says it is a tip. Maybe that is the best way to look at it. I imagine some waiters live on tips but they know that they cannot count on those tips. They must count on what every their bread and butter is.

I've earned $20.31 from Adsense in 350 plus days.Quite a "big" income huh?
    With ADSENSE,I'm going to :

    ***buy a BMW or MERCERDEz
    ***vacation to Disneyland
    ***buy a big mansion

In maybe 10 or maybe 30 years from now..
    Good marketing plan huh?

It's a reliable source of income... it's the traffic that not always so reliable. I don't make a ton from it, but it's a nice bonus check every month.

I would say that it is definitely not reliable. In the past two months, Adsense had been sending out warning letters to people with sites they deem to be "Made for advertisement". I myself have received 4 warnings and some people have had their accounts terminated completely. The classic method of finding high paying keywords and building a site around it with unique or PLR articles is no longer viable. They are looking for quality sites. However, the term "MFA" is extremely difficult to define and is completely up to them to interpret it.

I found that is one of my most reliable sources of income but that does not mean that it does not fluctuate randomly at times.

I have a forum relying on Adsense making $0.80 a click but I get 1 click for every 56 visitors.

Another site gives me only $0.12 a click but I get about 22 clicks every 46 visitors (average).

I use 40% duplicate content from other websites and 60% unique.

With anything the niche will decide how hard it is to get traffic and how much you're paid per click.

    Hope this helps

Adsense is a good supplementary income but I feel for anyone who relies on it for their bread and butter. Google can pull the rug from under you at anytime.
You are much better off spending the time to build sites with quality content that have various monetization strategies such as affiliate links, CPA and Adsense.

    Be careful with google

You can make a ton of money with adsense but I would not call it reliable. Google has also been known to canel adsense accounts on a whim, so you better have a back up plan if that is your only source of income. I would try out hydramedia, azoogle, or other similar companies - they pay like 10X what google does.

I recently sold a web site that relied heavily on Adsense, as it was a free info sort of site so visitors weren't in a purchasing mood. I didn't make a fortunate with it, but I earned easily enough each month to receive a check.

In the past year, I'd seen my Adsense earnings drop in half, though the traffic remained the same. Fortunately, my income is "extra," so I'm not reliant on Adsense at all. If I had been counting it a certain amount each month...yikes.

As someone else said, it really depends on your niche, what your customers are looking for. My next site targets people who are looking to spend money, so while Adsense will be part of it, I hope to spread the wealth around some with other ways to make cash.

I've been living off Adsense for some time now, but my affiliate
marketing is starting to reach a starter peak, which only takes a couple
    of months of done right.

I still would not suggest anyone to rely on Adsene alone, but it was
    a personal challenge of mine.

And most of my income comes from 4 sites, with 1 major site.
