Back on 03-Dec I wrote about my very small time experiment...

http://www.warriorforum.com/main-int...first-3-a.html

At that time I made just $3. Well, I'm now up to $16. I am
ranking for several ultra competitive terms. I'm on track to
hit at least $25 this month.

My point is that being relentless and staying focused will
generate cash. This is a long term investment in time and
energy, with potentially huge payoff.

Anyone can do what I'm doing.

Congrats! I tend to think as marketers we always look for the next big thing, when the next big thing has been sitting here all along! Quality sites that will have staying power are defiantly the way to go.

I applaud you for your determination.

Thanks. It's admittedly a small victory. It's meant to demonstrate
that anyone can grow a business with guts and determination. The
truth is that I was at ground zero with the site just 6 weeks ago.
Now it's pulling reasonable traffic and growing every day.

I make a LOT more money doing other work but this "labor of love"
is going to serve as a case study for our students in the future.

    John,

Back on December 3rd I read a post that challenged me to go full-bore into a project. This project was a blog in a hyper-competitive niche.

I have tons of PLR content for this niche, and since 12/3 I have been rewriting this content and posting it to the blog like a madman. One might even say that I've been sloggin' it out in the trenches. Over half of the articles end up being pretty good, but some are just long-tail fodder.

I've done quite a bit of link-building and I'm starting to see some Google traffic on long-tail keywords in addition to the traffic from the backlinks.

To date, I've made three ClickBank sales (I did not do Adsense, since I want to give them only one exit point).

In the past, if I had done 1/3 of this amount of work and had only seen 3 sales over nearly a month and a half, I would have moved on (well before now). However, seeing an experienced and successful marketer state that he is PLEASED with smaller results than mine has helped me stick with it.

I am positive, in no small part thanks to you, that this project will be an ATM spitting out 100 dollar bills in a year or two.

Thank you for helping me find the will to stick with it.

      Kelly:

That was a big reason I decided to do this project. I wanted
to motivate other people. I want to show them that when
you stick to a project long enough you *will* enjoy a steady
income stream for month, if not years.

Thanks for the positive feedback. We're not all here just to
learn tactics and techniques. We're also here to learn some
discipline and tenacity. That's what really builds businesses.
