Where can you get the pre-sell news landing page?...Heard it converts at 10-11%!

Hello fellow warriors,

I am trying to get a hold of the pre-sell news templates. You know the one that looks like a news page but it is not, it is really pre-selling a CPA offer.

Apparently this is the highest converting landing page for some type of CPA offers. That is what I have been told. It allegedly converts as high as 10-11%.

Do you know where I can get a hold of the template for this type of page?

If not, is there any other high converting landing page you can recommend?

Thanks,

Mark

Those are not templates. A lot of thought and work go into creating those flogs and fake newsite article pages.

You will also find they are often geotargeted, so someone viewing it while being in Cincinnati will see "articles" with headlines that relate the articles to Cincinnati.

And someone reading that website from their home in Salt Lake City will see the same article headlines relating the articles to Salt Lake City.

They usually use fake newspaper names. For example right now I am on the western side of Cincinnati, near a small town called Harrison. So when I see one of those sites it will appear to be from a newspaper called "The Harrison Hearld," and there is no such newspaper.

So, part of the work that goes into setting up that website is to create newspaper names for every city to which the site will be geotargeted. They can not use the name of a real news publication, and must check the publication in every city.

Again it is not a template.

That said, there is no reason you couldn't just create on website with what looks like it comes from the news media, and include your offers there.

Better still, you could create a curator news site with your ads on it, and with headlines and links to other "real" news articles. Two challenges though, 1-you would need to create new links every day, and 2 - sending people away from your ads might prevent them from coming back to your site.

Be aware that many of these sites are essentially fraud - mis-representing themselves as affiliates of actual news organizations. I would be very careful.

Careful with this type of stuff...

This is exactly who the FTC is going after...

News landing pages were everywhere about a year ago, but I don't see them much anymore. The FTC really cracked down on fake news sites and flogs, particularly seeing as most of them were promoting offers most people wouldn't dream of signing up for if they knew the truth. They're essentially designed to trick people into believing they're reading a news report, which isn't particularly ethical.

Still, if you're looking for CPA templates (including news templates) I've seen some at Lpdesigner.com - Affordable Landing Pages. Just be careful about what you write and promote though - I'm sure you'd need to use some kind of disclaimers.

Thanks for this Hamida- Very useful. I am wondering if there is a way to make an ethical news site that will not be in violation of FTC regulations? For example, not falsely stating it is a newspaper and putting things like as soon as on tv to mislead people. Just make it a newspaper template without anything fake.

    Ey there Mark,

Check out Charles Kirkland's $7 WSO which talked about fake news style landing pages. He talked about a site where you can buy a ton of them for cheap. He uses them them too.

Kirkland mentions Site Stomp, but I like the package I found here better:

        WP smart tools dot com

A newpaper template is included in the bonuses. You will see that on the features page. Their package also includes alot of cool things like dynamic date insertion, geotargeting data insertion and the like.

No, I'm not an affiliate of any of these. Just like you, I've been looking for some templates.

Wow. Its funny to see so many deceptive people on the forum. You KNOW you're tricking people with these templates right? They are successful because of the trust factor people have with "news" sites, and anyone who uses these are abusing that.

Why don't you guys learn to make an HONEST living, I hope the FTC cracks down on every one of you scammers.

  • I can spot these kinds of ads a mile away. Unfortunately, however, they are put up in hopes of snaring people that are not so internet savvy. Hence, they think it's a real newspaper article. I would never consider using of these, myself.

@Don Schenk - You're right down the road from my father, apparently, as he actually lives in Harrison. I live in North College Hill at the moment.

It's good to see another Cincinnatian on-board here at the WF.

I agree. No need to be scammy. I do see the value in setting up a real news site and using a template like these to produce a real value-driven site that gets shares, likes and good traffic. The layout just adds credibility if you do it right. Of course, solid content wins the day in the long run.

    Heard it converts at 10-11%!

    WTF!

what works for one person is not by any chance gunna work for you.

its about testing and depending on where you get your traffic from.

There is not much difference between a optin page that gets 10% rate and 30% rate. its all about testing and getting your leads from good high quality areas online.

    Just saying!
