Youtube Promotion Ideas

Hi everyone
I am in the process of building my first affiliate website. It is in the electronics niche. At the moment, I am getting a mere 40 visitors a day!

I have had a friend make me a professional promotion video, and I have a friend on youtube who has 110,000 subscribers, and he is also in the electronics niche. He has promised to upload the promotion video, so I know this will drive targeted traffic to my site.

However I have a few questions. :confused:

1) I know this could easily be a 24hour traffic surge, than go back down to the crappy traffic I am used to. So I have decided I will give away 3 free electronic item, something expensive that I know a lot of the subscribers will want.

To get entered for the give away, the youtube subscriber has to join my opt-in list.

What do you guys think of this idea, and is their things I could do better?
Also, is their any other conditions I could apply to be entered into the competition which will benefit the site? :rolleyes:

    well, go to youtube and check out what videos are already ranking. Use youtube PPC and buy your banner ad on those videos.

    Does your friend with 100k subscribers use the opt-in? I am trying to get viewers also; but its is a busy place on the web.

    What ever you do, do not buy youtube views. 9.9 Times out of 10 they do not work.

    If this is something that you'll be doing for a long time, then:

    1. Make lots of videos for it, pointing them to your website

    2. Do your keyword research and optimize your videos for the keywords.

    3. Start doing video responses on similar channels

    4. Download viewet.com 's software and get REAL human views.

    5. Go to fiverr.com and purchase subscribers, likes, comments and some views if they are real human to boost your seo in you tube. MAKE SURE THEY ARE REAL HUMAN and not bot.

    You will have to do a lot of keyword search and create several videos around your niche, with a link back to your site. Meanwhile check out what is receiving the most views on youtube in your chosen niche.

    Free give away has proven to be a very effective way of getting repeated traffic. You can also create a face book fan page on your niche and get free traffic from fiverr.com at $5. This is how I get free traffic too.
