What do you mean by private label rights articles?

    PLR articles are PLR articles are PLR articles. Where you get your PLR articles doesn’t really matter folks, as long as you keep getting articles on topics that you need.
    Because come to think of it. The reason why you use PLR articles and don’t write your own content is that you don’t have time to create your own content, lend it your own “voice” and don’t care enough about the topic to do heavy research and probably you don’t care a lot about the quality either.

      Crap PLR articles are crap. Good PLR articles are good.

      Where you get them does matter. One, for price. Two, for quality.

      The reasons plenty of people buy PLR content is to assist them in the content creation process. Many users of PLR DO care about the topic enough to do research, but want to have extra content to help them rank sites or to package into products.

      I use PLR as a research tool. For a few bucks I can easily save hours of time. Of course, I have to find a reputable source for these articles as some of the rehashed crap on the market is WAAAAY out of date.

      What you can do with PLR really depends on the license from the author. I allow about anything but reselling the PLR rights to the content, many others follow this as well.

      I am inclined to say that your response to the OP is less than helpful.

      I and many other IMers write our own articles, use ghostwriters AND use PLR material. Believe me, most of us are very fussy about the quality of PLR articles or ebooks that we use on the occasions that we use them.

    You can also purchase plr ebooks to offer customers as part of your deal. For example: you are selling a product in the men's health niche and you buy a couple of plr ebooks in that niche. You can now say "buy (my ebook) and you'll get this ebook and this ebook for free."

    To entice people to sign up to your list you can offer anyone who opts in a free ebook. It's one you bought as plr and you'll filled with affiliate links to boot.

    Private label rights articles are extremely useful. The best thing to do with them is to at least partially re write them in your own style, though you can use them as is. The only problem with not changing them is that loads of other people may well be using them also.

    With PLR articles you can put your own name to the article as if you are the author
    you can use them on your website or blog or as part of an autoresponder series
    You can put a whole bunch together and create an ebook
    You can use them for training purposes

    As a rule you MAY NOT submit them to article directories or resell them

    As already mentioned, using PLR as is, is not the
    best idea.

    If you are going to use it, you are better off re-writing
    it, using it for research purposes or using them as
    parts to your AR series.

    The problem is finding good PLR, scratch that, finding
    decent PLR.

    You should always re-write PLR articles. There are people who assume because they are unique and fresh, they can use them without re-writing.

    What are PLRs?

    They are articles.

    That's it. This jargon has been thrown around way too much and I was initially fed up in the past because I simply had not known what they were!

    Why PLRs?

    Because they're cheap to purchase. For example, 50 articles could cost you like $19.95?
    This is so much cheaper than hiring a writer to write 1 article for you at $3-5.
    You get the idea.

    Tip about PLRs

    Get the high quality ones. In other words, buy the "private" ones.
    Don't try to search your way around free PLRs on the Internet.
    But you could always get an idea what they are.
    Free usually means low quality.

    Check the PLRs rights.

    You can sell some of them. Not all come with the master reselling rights though. In this reselling rights thingy, there are several types of rights too. Be sure to check this out before you buy.

    Benefits of PLRs

    A ghost or expert writer has already done the research for you.

    Problem with PLRs

    Hundreds (if not thousands) of people are using them. Thus, it's duplicate content if you post unmodified PLR articles on your website.

    Therefore, always rewrite your PLR articles. Problem and mystery solved.

    I've always objected to PLR, not because it's a bad thing, but because it is generally presented as "Buy it, slap you're name on it, and you're good to go"

    Sadly, all the 'types' of rights available are not specific, they are general categories.

    You can say that "as a general rule" this is what you can do with PLR, this is what you can't. But so often the rights are not cleanly described to the buyer.

    But the most important things with PLR:
    1. Find GOOD PLR
    2. Use it as a BASIS only. REWRITE it, or use it as RESEARCH. Don't fall into the trap of "buy it, slap your name on it, and call it good."
