Where is the best place to check for domain names availability without feeling that your ideas will be stolen before you decide on the right domain name(s)?

I use Ajax Domain Search - Instant Domain Name Search & Register to look for available domain names. Its simple and quick.
I have never had any of my ideas stolen though.

Just check to see if its available in Godaddy. Also check out recently expired domains.
