Lets hear some success stories!

I mostly see posts on WF about failed attempts to make money. I have a friend just getting started in IM and i think it would give him some more motivation to hear all the success stories out there.

If your not comfortable with sharing financial info that's fine but i would like to see some average monthly earnings with all your great stories that brought you to success.

Thanks guys.

You might be right that the majority of thread starters are from frustrated people trying to make it, but the responses are often from very successful marketers. You are surrounded by greatness here, but are choosing to look with blinders on.

I'm not a millionaire or anything, but I'm doing pretty well for myself online... especially this month.

I launched a few niche sites in December that I monetized with AdSense. Last month I did around $800 from them. In February I launched a few more that have started earning and should reach that same level in a month or two.

I also soft-launched a product in February that did a few hundred dollars that month. In March, when I actually started promotion, it made around $1,200 and it's already done over $4,000 in sales this month. I'm putting together a WSO for it that I hope will boost sales even more. I'm gunning for a $10k month from this product.

I also sold a couple domains this month that were hand registered within the last 2 years. Not huge income from these, but I wasn't even actively trying to sell them. Just got a call out of the blue with a solid offer.

That's all in addition to the pretty steady income I make from my main blog (where I sell ad space and do affiliate promotions).

There's a ton of ways to make money -- it's about picking one or two and throwing some effort at them. Money follows activity.

My first taste of online success came from building a website for my offline buisness. During this process I discovered making money online and decided to give it a try for some extra income.

I tried many different make money online models and settled on 3 sites, each a slightly different model, but mainly earning via affiliate offers.

      1. 1 site is a mix of reviews and informative articles. Monetization is mainly affiliate offers of digital products.
      2. 2nd site is purely for list building with a few affiliate offers. This site has potential for a membership site in the future. It's in a very focused niche.
      3. 3rd site promotes physical products as an affiliate.

Presently my monthly MMO income is approx $2,500 (fluctuates between $2K and $4K) with a combined 500 daily unique visitors (approx).

I started in earnest with MMO in early 2010. Until then I screwed around with a bunch of methods until I settled on building up 3 sites into larger sites. I stettled on niches I like. I simply crank out content and links.

Most importantly, my traffic has been increasing fairly quickly over the last few of months. 2 of my niches are fairly competitive, but the plus side is they are in large markets so my sites have decent traffic and earning potential.

I didn't start seeing decent income until 9 to 10 months after starting in earnest (i.e. settling and focusing on a 3 niches). Now it's rinse and repeat.

I lost all my AdSense and Clickbank income because of AdSense ban and Google algorithm change, but that didn't stop me from trying other methods to make money and continue to succeed. Only quitting makes me a failure!

It's inspirational to see people making money online. I think it's just hard to start an online business if you don't have any knowledge. If you put your head into it you will succeed.
I did last 2008 and started selling on ebay after one month of research and outsourcing physical products, it didn't took long until that 3 consecutive months I became a bronze power seller. But that idea evolve which made me create my own sites instead and sell my own products without FEES!

Good to hear your successes. Thank you.

It is difficult starting out in IM largely because there is not as much support for the beginning marketer as there is in most other traits. Instead of helping out beginners, the vets exploit them for there lack of knowledge and sell get rich quick products to them. Maybe this is due to the vetran marketers feeling that beginning IM are future competition in a field that is becoming more saturated with the economy the way it is and jobs no longer being secure or paying what they once did. IDK

      What do you guys think?

I earn my money from writing. I have consistently made around $1000 per month and am now trying to lift it to $1500.
I am also on a disability pension so the extra income means I can pay my rent and extra bills.

There is a TON of support for beginners. For example the forum this very post is made in goes back 1908 pages that dates back to 2008. Thats nearly 3 years of threads.

And these threads are FILLED with valuable information and previous experience from other Warriors.

"Get Rich" Products have been around since the dawn of sales and marketing. It surprising to think that anyone still falls for the gimmicks these days to tell you the truth.

Regardless here is my success story. I started my first website in the summer of 2008. It was a site that focused on featuring videos and pictures of local events in my area. Two months after setting up the site I sold my first advertisement space. That summer I made $1500 and I had absolutely NO idea what the hell I was doing outside of the video production aspect. The site is no longer online.

Fast-forward to today and I generate income solely through CPA, Adsense and being an affiliate marketer of physical products. I make enough cash to pay for my car payment and insurance, which free's up income from my nine to five job.

You can make an income online but it takes a little effort on your own part.

You're going to fail. If you're afraid of failure then you do not belong in the Internet Marketing Business. Period.

I do agree with you. There is support on for beginners all over. I think what i am trying to say is that IM is more difficult due to the fact that most people dont go to school and learn everything they need to like you would to become an accountant or a engineer. you sorta just have to self educate youself and filter out all the misinformation out there. There is no text book for IM. You can pay for some one to teach you i guess but that's different its not official.
