4 Days After Launch, I Made $647.....(How Should I Go about Promoting it?)

Hi guys,

After three weeks, my product was finally approved by ClickBank and went live this Monday. Four days later, I made 14 sales with $647 revenues. Although not a bad start, I need a fast way to recruit affiliates and increase sales. I have tried JV and product launch forums but without any success.

Can you guys offer some good advice?

Thanks,

Nick

You should get your conversions straight first. If you try to recruit affiliates and let them spend the money to tweak your sales funnel you will most likely not find too many.

If you can show that you've got EPCs of $2 or better, you will have no problem finding affiliates.

ClickBank should have an affiliate program you can utilize.

Yeah , that is true . You want to know your EPC first before you recruit affiliates because if your product does not convert as well as you said it would . you would geta bad rep and no one would want to deal with you when you luanch more products in the future

Thanks for the advice. How would I go testing the EPC in the first place? My new site just doesn't get enough traffic right now. I emailed Clickbank about advertising on their marketplace but they never got back to me. Do you guys think if advertising on affiliate program directory websites/mailing lists will work? What else would you try?

          Thanks!

Thank you guys for your great advice! I guess I was too anxious to see if my product would make some money before I did much testing. The EPC data on my JV page before was based on a small data set and since now I have more data, I just updated the EPC, which is a little bit more $2.00. But it might change once I get more data.

So you guys are saying that I should test everything and get the EPC BEFORE I recruit affiliates AT ALL?

            Thanks a lot!

Thanks for the advice. I agree. The EPC I had before on the JV page was based on a small data set. I just updated the EPC based on more data. But I have to say that it is still based on a rather small set of data since the product was just launched 9 days ago and there still isn't much traffic yet. I will keep you guys posted about what is going on.

      Thanks again!

    • Wow, how did you make those 14 sales? I mean was it search traffic? PPC? or a few affiliates. Well done.

Did you really make $1.5m in 3 years?

the voice is automatic electronic or yours?

you are asking for email from the mainpage... no affiliates will send you their leads

I don't know how feasible it is for you but one great way to get a high EPC is to offer a large % commission up front. Let your affiliates reap the front end benefits while you utilize the backend to put money in your pockets.

After all, the more affiliates you have the more sales you're going to make.

      Best of luck,

The best way to get more affiliates is to offer more commission per sale as well as helping your affiliates with useful tools that will make promoting your product more easier and cost effective.

Offer the affiliate program to people who buy your product. Especially if it is in the make$ category.

I have to agree with Nisip and it seems that you have replied to all the other suggestions on this page other than his. As an affiliate I would bounce from your page in about 5 seconds and so would most serious affiliates. Half your page is lead capture dood!

Right now affiliates make 50% and about $35 for the Gold package (non-recurring). For the Platinum package, they make $43 during the first month and then $8.3 per month after that (recurring). I have strong incentives to have our members keep their memberships.

Do you guys think if I should lower the price for the Gold membership and increase the price for the Platinum? I want to run some tests to get the prices right as well.

      Thanks,

      Nick

lot of products on clickbank have very high return rate. even very successful products on CB get hit with returns to some degree. you should give it atleast 6-8 weeks to get a better idea about actual conversion and actual sale that end up sticking. aside from that, not a bad start
