I checked my CB account today and I got a tiny stupid sale from my inactive and outdated blog. Probably the sale come from my product review I guess. I'm not really serious on Clickbank now, coz' I'm more focused on instant direct payments like Paypal.

The OP basically said, "Hey, I have a very old site that I haven't touched in years, and I still made a sale from ClickBank." Why are you guys making this so difficult lol?

Nobody is making it difficult. What everyone is saying is that a sale isn't "stupid" no matter where it comes from or from how old of a site it might be.

Unless you are earning millions isnt any sale great especially if you didnt have to do anything.

Your work pay off, sometimes in short & sometimes in the long run
your blog which is outdated now must have been up-to date in the past
Its always motivational to get a sale & especially from a blog on which you are not even focused, if it would have been my blog then i would have been start working on it after the very first sale to get the most out of it.

Guys! The reason it is stupid, because I'm stupid at making a Clickbank sale doing nothing.

@misterkailo Man, I give you credit. Thanks for remembering my last post. Hahaha!

  • Any sale is a good sale, in my book. Even those god-awful $.99-ers.

Here is my tip for more such stupid ClickBank sales. Write articles with the title as ClickBankProductName-Review and post them randomly to hubpages, squidoo etc. You will occasionally see sales here and there even if the article is sub-standard. The advantage of including review in the title and article is that only someone interested in buying the product will want to search for a review and is already in a mood to buy.

This is very true! It happens to me every now and then. I do laugh when I get a sale on something like urinary tract infection which I have no clue on how to cure it.

That is a great tip, mbarty2010.

@misterkailo - It amazes me, too, how many people buy products from me thinking I'm sort of 'authority' on the subject, when all I really did was just a bit of research for content and articles to get the blog/site going.

Well bud, I hate to break it to you but a sale will be an actual sale after the 60 period expires to which people can request a refund...

On the other hand, there's no such thing as a bad sale. Like in hockey, all goals look alike on the scoreboard

I think what the OP is trying to say is : Try and collect that money from Clickbank with the 5 account rule and charges for inactive accounts, I can only imagine the money that remains in those dormant accounts that clickbank eats away at with those inactivity fees. And thats only after customer doesn't take advantage of CB liberal refund policy.
