To WhoisGuard Or Not To WhoisGuard?

Hi,

Just wondering on people's opinions on wether using Whois as a marketer is a good idea. The arguing points being:
1. If you don't have your WhoisGuard on, you could get spammed lots...

2. But if you have it on people who might be potentially interested in you and your offers might wonder why you're hidding your details from them.

Opinions?

Thanx ;0)

I pick and choose. My personal sites that promote me and my services/business are not listed as private. On the other hand if I have a blog run under a nom de plume/pseudonym, it obviously needs to have my information kept private.
