Hi,

do you know any e-commerce shop like plimus.com which can proceed credit card/paypal/etc payments but not allowing customers after making order to get refund?

    LOL

Almost was just going to leave it at "lol" but guess I should add some value to the thread haha...

Obvious ethical answer for you is to make your product better so you don't have to worry about refunds. That or make your checkout experience more positive and less confusing to build upon the "instant gratification" our customers get by being able to access the goods directly after a sale.

That or make it extremely clear you have a "no refunds" policy directly on your website and at checkout.

Even still with an amazing product, checkout experience and even with a zero refund policy... If someone REALLY wants a refund bad enough... you can sure as hell bet they will find some way to get their money back.

      .
it will not help, because they can always contact plimus and request refund

so is there any e-commerce which not support refunds?

2checkout, regnow, etc. -- all of them support refunds?

GEE, ever wonder WHY they tend to be so willing to give money BACK!?!?!? BTW you said "will not help"! OK, HERE is were you have to go:

        Utopia MA
        Utopia, NP 77777
        Their number is 555 010 7777

Don't worry if you get a busy signal or whatever, they are VERY hard to reach. Maybe if you call a few trillion times someone will answer. If they DO answer, get directions there, I'd love to know where utopia is.

You see, there is always SOME way to hassle you and/or get the money back.

Disclaimer.... Utopia is an old name for the perfect place/paradise, and also literally means NO PLACE!

The real question is why you are NOT prepared to offer refunds. What is the nature of the product?

Almost all products and services are covered by some sort of guarantee or consumer protection, so what makes your product different?

Plimus is a joke. They are only there to support their own interests. Not yours. Stick with PP.

so what do you use instead?

do you talk from point of view of vendor or customer?

  • Refunds are part of running a business, no matter who you use there is probably going to be 1-2 people that want a refund for whatever reason. Your product or service might of been the best thing since sliced bread, but you may still have 1 person out of 200 people that just wants a refund.

Personally in most cases, even if I don't have any guarantee of sorts, I'll make a judgement call and in some cases I will refund the purchase. It's very rare and hardly worth the time and I would much rather they be satisfied. Now if they do it repeatedly they go on my blocked buyer list and can't purchase anything again, but that is pretty rare.
