Where can I find a Domainer- Assist in a sale of a High Traffic Domain

I've gotten hold of a very popular domain recently. Verified traffic is 6 digits monthly (Literal verified traffic)

However, I'm new to the domain flipping industry, especially when there might be issues of trademark which I'm unfamilar with.

Therefore, I need someone with knowledge on domain trademark.

Anyone got any domainer to recommend? Deeply appreciated, thanks!

Is there a trademark name in the domain or do you want to trademark it? You could always Google Search "Find Trademarks Online". That will give you help I think. If it's a trademarked name you may need to contact the owner of the trademark before selling it. That's what I would do in your situation.

I recently bought a domain name that get's 5 million searches per. month with low competition. However I have no plans to sell it. I'm making it into a review site

There is a trademark name in it, however I've read that it is still possible to negotiate a sale for such domain names?

For question of trademark : you will need a lawyer who specialize in this

For questions about domaining , the most prominent expert that I know in this sector is Gene Pimentel. Maybe he'll find that thread or shoot him a PM

The "curious orange" in me ask: what's the domain

YouTube - Lee and Herring - Curious Orange
      Cute orange there

Well it's a domain related to yahoo

Thanks for the recommendation, but I guess all domainers who have a reputation wouldn't take the risk.

        Hi Jon

pm me the domain and i will see if I can help you.

You have to be very careful with trademark infringement as not only could you lose the domain you could also end up having to pay yours and their legal costs.

        Believe me it's not pretty

Thanks @TPFLegionaire. You're absolutely right - only a lawyer can answer this to any degree of satisfaction, because there are a LOT of variables to consider.

Listen to @kennygoodman - that's experience talking. Kenny knows what he's talking about.

There are some situations where using someone elses trademark in your domain name is acceptable (fair use, or direct written permission, etc.), but when it comes to very prominent trademarks like Yahoo, drop it like a hot potato. Nothing but trouble.

      Thanks @Gene Pimentel =)

      and I agree with you.

      @Jon
you need to be careful with trademark domains and there are potential expensive legal battles ahead if not dealt with properly.

I suggest you try namepros.com. There are a lot of experienced domainers there.

Personally, as a domainer, I wouldn't touch a domain name with TM issues. I hope you didn't pay a lot for this one.
