Hello,

I have a product listed in Clickbank. The product has 10GB.
What's the best way to deliver the product to customers?
I have many complains about download issues.

Thank you

Aha, it was recommended before (Amazon S3). I just need to figure out how it works

10GB is too big for a digital product in my opinion. I wouldn't even bother worrying about fiddling around with Amazon S3 yet. I would never download something that big no matter how much I wanted it. That would be nearly half of my monthly allowance used up.

This is definitely something that you need to deliver on a data DVD, even then you are going to need several DVD's to fit all the files. Can we ask what the product is? Is the whole 10Gb needed for the person to use the product or is this a library of things they can download gradually over time, as and when they need them? If that's the case, you can host it all on Amazon S3 but I would then also give your customers the option of ordering a physical copy.

That's an absolute must for a product of that size.

Yeah, I have a very fast 24/2 line which downloads around 2.5 mb/s easily - and even I would definitely hesitate to download 10 gigs unless it was something very essential.

Can you split your product? I mean, give something to download instantly - something much smaller - around 100 - 200 megs (from the amazon S3), and then send the rest on two dvds? This way you could satisfy your customer by giving something to download instantly and then later they would receive the rest. Making a part of your product tangible, real DVDs can seriously raise the perceived value of your product.

What is the 10gb, anyway? Video/audio sample libraries of some sort? It's hard to imagine your product to be anything else. If it's just a pile of video tutorials, you seriously need to re-encode that stuff

      Hey, thank you all

There are 15.000 woodworking plans and projects
I've splitted into 100 categories. I've got some zip's from 5MB to 500Mb. Hope the customer will download the project he need.

      I hope will work better.

      Thank you so much, all!

Either way, with a library of stuff that big you should definitely be offering an upsell of a physical dvd. If it were me who had purchased the product I would definitely be interested in purchasing the DVD version so I knew I had all the plans to go to whenever I wanted them.

If I purchased your product, and then later realized that it is 10GB to download, I would be very pissed.

It is like waiting for your food at McDonald's for over half an hour. People expect this to be FAST!

Yes, the file size needs to be split. That's a seriously large file.

That's a very very big file for a product. If your file consist alot of images you can always downsize each one of them to less than 50kB per image. Just batch size it and use photoshop to automatically downsize each file.
