I think that most advertisers look at how much money you have made in the past when deciding to accept you. So the more money you are making, the easier it is to get accepted.

Most of the affiliate managers just look at stats when deciding to approve or not approve you.

Sometimes the vendor will have a contact email for the affiliate manager on their detail page. You can try and contact them that way.

    Good luck

With CJ you can always start with the auto-approve vendors, and once you have a reputation go to the more stringent ones.

There are several possibilities for rejection from CJ advertisers
      • Not enough traffic to your site
      • Not yet a strong CJ performer
      • Site not targeted to niche
      • Some advertisers auto decline every application and want a personalized email application instead
      • A lot of the bigger advertisers only want to deal with big sites
If you reapply after being rejected with a well argued case you stand an good chance of being accepted.

That's exactly what it is...not enough traffic and the site is not established.

Also many of the affiliate programs are very stringent about accepting new members.

I've actually contacted them personally about not being approved, and this was after they sent me a sample product to review.

I was immediately accepted into the program.

So if you are rejected don't be afraid to ask for approval...
