Adding a unsubscribe link at the beginning of email.

I've read up on how to reduce spam complaints and placing an unsubscribe link at the beginning is one of them. I'm just wandering is it best to place it it in the very first sentence, separate from you'r actual email? And should you do this in the first email you send them? (What they opted in for)

You can place some text at the start of all of your outgoing
e-mails to make it easy for people to unsubscribe - if they
    want to.

Then you can begin the text for the body of your e-mail.

Here's some example text to include at the very top of
    your outgoing e-mail messages:

You are getting this e-mail because you subscribed to it at [Insert URL Here]
on the [Insert Subscription Date Here] using your e-mail address of [Insert
E-mail Address Here] from the following I.P. Address [Insert I.P. Address Here]

You may unsubscribe if you no longer wish to receive our emails by clicking here
    [Insert Unsubscribe Link].
This way, you make it easy for people to unsubscribe if
they want to. Plus you also jog people's memory to remind
them where and when they originally signed-up to your
list so some of them decide to stay rather than unsubscribe.

    Dedicated to mutual success,
