Open a business account at PayPal. Then follow the instructions there for creating buy buttons for your various products or services.

There are very simple, easy to follow instructions on the PayPal site, but you need an account to see them. Buttons are associated with your specific account, they are not generic.

Presumably you'll be selling on a website, not just via forums? Ideally you'd provide the links on the forums to go to your website, where you then have the buy now buttons etc.

Once you get an account, you can find solutions to the html code issue.

However, I've never seen a Buy Button on a forum post. Virtually all forums would kick you off if your tried to do that. Forum posts are NOT the place for ads or for direct selling with something like a Buy Button. A forum post is linked to your site in your signature, and people click on that and purchase on your own site.

Buy Buttons are for your own web site or emails you send, definitely not for forums.

      • Hi Pokerex. Register a PayPal business account. Enter your credit card details to validate your PayPal account. Go to Merchant Services > Buy Now Buttons and create the PayPal button you need. Copy the HTML code of your newly created PayPal button...

Go to your website's admin panel. Develop a sales page. Create an order form on your sales page. Paste the HTML code of your PayPal payment button. Ask a friend with a PayPal account to test your order form and PayPal payment button. If it works: Copy the URL of your sales page...

Implement your marketing campaigns. Point people most likely interested in your offers to your sales page...

[uninvited advice]When you're offering such a service, make sure that everything you write online has been at least proofed once by yourself. I count eight errors in the above, and I'm not a native English speaker.[/uninvited advice]

If you don't choose the option to encrypt your PayPal button, you can get a link for emails etc., and use that in your signature on forums.

As Though paypal ... is The best Option ..

The other is paypal is the widest used payment process.
you will have more customers who are using paypal rather then any other service.

and what if he goes an option with "Paydotcom.com" (since all payment transactions will be carried out by that site only)

Personal and business accounts are different. You must carefully read the PayPal Terms of Service (TOS). People complain when they have problems with PayPal, but it almost always the case that they break the rules... Read the TOS carefully!

PayDotcom is not related to PayPal in any way. That is an affiliate site and you must read their rules too. But don't confused PayPal and PayDot... totally different companies that do two different things.

You will have troubles if you do not understand the rules of each different company.

I use freshbooks. It is free for like 3 accounts and you pay for anything over. It sends them professional looking invoices via mail or email and it gives them a personal login to view their previous invoices. It is freaking AWESEOME

If you are advertising on forums, it will probably get you kicked out. Use your signature to advertise your site instead.

If they do allow sales, then just use the email code instead of the HTML code.

I had a personal account with Paypal, but I had to convert it to a business account before it would let me set up my buy buttons. You don't necessarily have to create a whole new account.

It is okay to have both a personal and business account with Paypal, but only 1 of each.

Make sure you read through the TOS before doing so, though.
