What's your favorite type of PLR site?

I'm thinking of joining a couple article plr sites and thinking maybe I should expand my horizons. One is a 5 article a day PLR site in my niche, the other is one of those sites that has thousands of articles, etc.

What is the best type of PLR site and what do you look for in a PLR site?

I like the PLR sites that provide a all in one solution. For example, they give you graphics, ebook, articles, squeeze pages and all in a single package.

Sometimes you get higher quality articles from "mom and pop" type PLR sites. Peggy Baron's PLR shop springs to mind.

You are wrong. Try Best Quality PLR. You'll find all original products there and extremely high quality, with graphics and the whole nine yards for at least most of them.

I'm with PLRAssassin.com right now. They run the whole gamut, from e-books, videos and graphics to software and beyond.

They have a lot of good stuff, but also a lot of crappy stuff, and they don't have a proper search feature. However, thus far, in lieu of something better at a resonable price, I'm going with them.

Is PLRAssassin original stuff or do they harvest PLR from everywhere and sell it as part of their membership?

They do have writers on their team that create original articles and PLR products as well. The exclusive offers they provide their members is worth the membership price in my opinion. Plus they have added some WSO's and other products that you normally wouldn't be able to have PLR access to.

I've been a member of many different PLR sites over the past few years, but at the moment I prefer non membership PLR sites.

Sites such as PLR Mini Mart, 8000+ Private Label Rights (PLR), Master Resale Rights, Resell Rights, Private Label Right, ebook, video, articles. Worlds largest catalog. etc are good because you can just buy what you need, when you need it.

  • I think for most types of PLR, you're actually much better off picking and choosing products as and when you need them.

At that point, go for products which have relatively low distribution (same rule applies for articles). The WSO forum is good, as are some of the one-person writing teams that mainly sell PLR to their lists.

Membership sites are fine, if you're willing to commit to using everything, regardless of whether it's an area you're interested in or have any immediate use for. And, you can sometimes get some excellent deals for membership, particularly through WSOs and one-time-offers. But otherwise, I'd stick with the one-offs.

It depends on what you are looking for. If I want content from a certain niche I might use a membership site that is dedicated to that niche. I like to buy content as I need it too.

The best types of PLR sites I like are the ones that offer full PLR packages. What I mean by that is packages not only comes with sales page and product, but extras like affiliate pages, banner squeeze pages as well as autoresponder messages. I don't come across many menbership sites that offer these at the moment.

I tend to like Kate Anderson's products. She focuses alot on IM niches, and some of her stuff comes than more than just a sales page and a ebook.

I actually prefer PLR sites that do NOT have done for you sales letters and graphics. The reason is that most people will simply just take these sales letters and graphics as is and put them up, and as a result you get 500 sites that look exactly the same. Guess what? How then do you compete with each other? Well, you lower the price, but trust me, competing on price is not the way to go.

This is why I like PLR sites like Jeremy Burns' Naked PLR. As the name implies, his PLR products do not come with ready made sales letters and graphics, but instead, they are positioned as starting points for you to create your own UNIQUE products. He provides product analysis resources like keywords, potential product names, step by step coaching to rebrand the product and article to truly make them one of a kind. This is the right sort of PLR strategy, to see PLR not as the end, but rather as a starting point.

It really does depend on what you are looking for. If you are after PLR articles then there are many PLR sites that sell articles - both membership sites and buy as you need type sites.

If you are after a sales page, ebook, etc then there are sites that specialize in those. Then there are PLR sites that sell websites with articles already on them.

There really is a lot of different types of PLR so it really does depend on what you want the PLR for.

My favorite sites are PLR sites where I can just go in and buy PLR when I need it. Like Tiffany Dows PLR MiniMart, RuthP netplr, Peggy Barons plr site and a few others.

I normally prefer product type membership sites where you buy them as they come out. Normally I would only buy from people who have created them themselves.

I think that best PLR sites are the ones that have content you will use. It's easy to get information overload so pick niches and content that will add value to your business. The PLR content from my site is sold in limited qualities. There are also some original packs that are sold only once, but you get the convenience of instant downloads. If you're interested, you can click through to the site. For any PLR product, I would look at the distribution and just know that you can add value by tweaking it a little with your own flair. Hope that helps.

As many people have already said, it depends on what you are looking for. If you have a very specific niche that you need regular content for, then a niche membership site is great, so long as the quality is good. You don't want to have to spend loads of time editing a piece of garbage.

The all-in-one packages sound attractive, but they still need work if you are going to sell something that isn't the same as hundreds of others out there. Even if it's a limited quantity, you should be editing it.

I prefer sites where I can just pick what I want when I want it. I joined one membership site once that had fantastic quality content, but at least 2/3rds of it wasn't relevant for me and has been sitting on my hard drive.

There was one comment previously about PLR sites all regurgitating the same stuff. That's not true at all. All the sites I buy from write their own. My own PLR content is all written by me or other professional business writers. I also like providing additional tools, checklists and tips that can be used with PLR.

Right now, my favorite sites are All Star PLR (Peggy Baron), PLR Minimart (Tiffany Dow), Easy PLR (Nicole Dean), All Private Label Content (Alice Seba and Melody Spier), Coaching PLR Content(Melissa Ingold and Nicole N), Success PLR, and Net PLR (Ruth Pound).

Hope that gives you a good list to get started on!
