Flipping A Site With PR2 But No Revenue?

I have a PR2 site that's sitting #9 for a 1300 exact match keyword and not only that, it is the exact name of a very popular Clickbank product!

The competition to #2 (but not to #1) is beatable as well.

Only problem is that the site hasn't made any money or had many visitors yet.

Do you think I could still flip it for a decent sum?

    I think it would be better for you to keep at it and do something with it yourself. Try to rank it as highly as possible and you might see results. If you are afraid of trademarks which I don't know if it is a trademark or not, then you could flip it to someone. It would be more valuable with some revenue history though.

    PR 2 really has little value. Anybody who knows how to bump page rank can get a site to PR 2 fairly easily. A couple of good backlinks is all it takes.

    The value of the site, based on the information you've given, it's not much.

    You've gotta remember, if your only getting 1300 per month searching that, chances are that they are just going to go straight for the top ones.

    Just keep adding backlinks dude, keep doing the work.

    Try find another niche though, 1300 per month isn't a lot at all.

    Actually, it is a trademark name site. I've emailed the company to see if it's kosher or not, as they approved me for an affiliate account but I'm sure they do tons of those daily and I could've easily slipped by unnoticed.

    As an experiment, I'm going to post it on Flippa anyway and see what happens :-)

    Sounds like your niche is not much of a buying audience, and 1300 is not enough to make much money on. You are better off to find another niche with more traffic. Plenty out there.

    if you think you can get to number one then that is where all the visitors are. Hang on in there the site will be worth a lot more if it is making a profit

    Hey Vic,

    I'm curious how this turned out for you. I suspect if you sold it as-is you'll probably get a few hundred bucks out of it. If you got it to number one and have a few months of revenue, you'll likely get 10-14 times your monthly income.
