Making Money On clickbank Dry spell

Wow I got a good lesson from clickbank , I have one sale that is recurring at a low 16$/month , two weeks ago in one hour managed to squeeze close to 200$ in one hour then the dry spell for a week and a half now. I read that a good affiliate averages 100 hops before making a single sale, Well is that a good scale? I don't see if I target niches that one in hundred will buy from me. Maybe i am losing sales to cookie stuffers etc. Any simple techniques that can make a single sale a day from a single niche?
Just looking for something simple to promote I guess. I went in the weight loss niche and getting zero traffic to my site or very little. I got backlinks, text links , reviews etc what else can I do for this site to get exposure

Initially it's probably best to stick to one niche and promotion. Try testing your opt in/squeeze pages.

Where did you traffic come from and which one works the best? Once you know this, it's a case of focusing all of your efforts on this and then rinse and repeat. If you spread yourself too thin, you won't be that effective.

Set up a Google Alert on the product you're promoting. You'll then see where your fellow affiliates are marketing the product.

    Hope that helps?

See when I promote cb products I don't take advantage of tid's and its a pain to find out where the sales came from. I think I don't focus enough and can't get a list to build . damn me I once gave up and only in the past six months have been really pushing myself to promote

What are you going after.... Organic search traffic. ppc, ppv etc
Are you using high volume keywords... and are you using showing up on the radar...(are you on top page of SERP)?

How is your copy and descriptions?

A lot needs to be done.. but rest assured.. once you get things in order... it will make money longer....

You are lucky enough to have made a sale. I have a second though, you might be lucky but stil you made some smart work out there to make a sale.

Keep on doing it until you start getting the steady income and then choose the next and repeat.

    Best of luck.

The amount of sales per hops depends greatly on how "hot" the visitor is. You can expect to get a far better conversion rate with good pre-selling.

For things like banner ads and text links: the sales per hop is much, much lower. I've seen products not make a sale after 300-400 hops before with banner ads, so I took some of them down.
