What to do with my old Ezine articles?

I have an ezine articles account which I used for my old website (which is now shut down), and I would like to know if I should edit all of the links in the post or romove them, or if I should just open a brand new account with ezine? (I have a new website/domain that I will be linking to in my articles).

I'd keep the articles and change the links. I'd also keep that account going. If you need to, you can set up pen names under it if you want to separate marketing efforts for various sites.

Yes, just change the links. The articles are already out there, might as well put them to work.

They've changed their system a little at EZA.

When you edit resource-box links now, they don't take the article offline during the resubmission process like they used to, and they normally attend to these within one working day (they say).

The potential problem to be aware of is that the editorial guidelines have changed quite a lot, and as many people have been finding to their cost, it's easily possible for articles previously accepted and published no longer to comply with them, when resubmitted with replaced resource-box links.

So it might be wise to be a bit careful, and not to do them all at once.

Under no circumstances open a second account with them. This would be breaching their TOS in a way they take seriously. But there's no need, anyway: you can always add new pen-names to your existing account.

If you are thinking about opening a new account > submitting a new article with new links it then, i would like to tell you that you are on your way to reinvent the wheel.

If you already have an article, what all needs to be done is to change the links as per your new site & also i don't see any point of creating a separate account for a new site, what about those webmasters who have 100's of sites? you can always create desirable pen names under EZA members area.

I agree with Alexa. I've learned the hard way, just because an article was accepted once, does NOT mean it will be accepted again. If you look at it in a different light, EZA should be thanked when it finds a link that doesn't work. It may be a bit of work re-writing or re-submitting an article, but at least now you know it's correct. Besides, you can than utilize that article again and repurpose it elsewhere!

Also, (again, I agree with Alexa) DO NOT open another account! Use your existing account at EZA! Use the pen name thing if you really need to.
