InstantTeleseminar or FreeConferenceCallHD

This is just my two cents worth when doing conference calls. Also, I'm not plugging any company here, just pointing out what I've learned from experience.

First of all, I've been using IT for several years and have had ZERO issues with them. Easy to use, easy to follow set up, ect.

Recently, when they added the Skype thing, I thought it was great! When I did my interviews, Skype sounded great.....on my end. One of my interviewers asked me why all that "funny noise" during the interview. I didn't know what they were referring to until I listend to the replay! OMG! It sounded like a machine gun blasting (which I couldn't hear). Then, several others who listended to the replay asked the same thing because they heard it to. I don't think this was IT fault, just something with the Skype integration, but I'm not sure.

As an experiment, I got an account at FreeConferenceCallHD and tried an interview with them. HOLY COW! The sound quality was GREAT! And no machine gun noise!

So, as the result of all this, I've analyzed how many people actually listen live to my interviews vs. how many listen to the recordings. A LOT more people listen to the recordings vs live. So, instead of me paying $47/month with IT (which I love btw), it just doesn't make financial cents to keep using for what I'm doing.

I now conduct my interview with just me and the person I'm interviewing, upload that mp3 to AmazonS3 then link that replay to my site and bingo, I can now do the same thing as before with pennies instead of $47/month.

Yes, I lose the live interaction with IT's online integration with the questions and all, but really, not too many were utilizing it to begin with.

My question is, does anyone else use FreeConferenceCallHD and if so, what are your results?

I am using it as well and I love it. The only problem I had is when I was using skype it cut off part way through the call, not sure if it was skype or my wireless connection. I was glad you posted this because I was thinking about going from FreeconferencecallHD to IT. Thanks again!!
