Squeeeeze Page

I have a squeeze page question, if you have picked out a clickbank product to promote, is it a common practice to make a squeeze page for that product to get them to opt-in then send them off to the main products page?.

Basically what I want to know is if that's the right way to do it?, it seems to me that making a squeeze page to get the visitor to click on to another squeeze page is too much?, or is that just me being very new?.

Ive seen some products allow you to link directly to the cart, but if they do not, how do I approach this?.

Whats the most successful strategy you use when you want to promote a clickbank affiliate product?.

    Hi Elliot,

    the purpose of the squeeze page is to start building your most precious asset to your internet business - your list.

    So you have an autoresponder with a juicy ' tempting' offer - like

    'Enter your email below to get your risk-free report "Six Simple Secrets to Boost Your _____ by 100%"

    ...something like that - you know what I mean.

    That way - you have them now in your autoresponder so you can

    1. build a relationship with them
    2. offer good stuff on an 'automated' sequence of emails
    3. $ for you - in your emails to you list, include your clickbank or affiliate product links they can click to....it often takes the 5th or 6th email to get a prospect to bite.
    4. You have built your most valuable asset - your list.

    IF you just send them straight to the clickbank page - then you bypass building a HUGE future asset - YOUR list for yourself.

    You can still send them to the clickbank page after they sign up for your free juicy report.

    And after spending all that money on traffic to that page - why not piggyback on building your business.

    Even in 2004 when I first started in IM - my measly 500 person list brought in more than four figures a month...so don't underestimate the value of that future list.

    now, if you are in a quick hurry for quick cash - you can send traffic straight to the squeeze page but have a plan then to use the $$ you make from that to BUILD YOUR BUSINESS SYSTEM and adding your own squeeze page, your own autoresponder and list!
