Amazon TOS and Exit Splash?

I've been looking through the Amazon TOS and can't see anything against exit plugins like Exit splash but I might just be missing it.

I'm building review sniper sites and when they close the window it has a popup offering them a deal and pointing them towards my Amazon link.

Does anyone know if Amazon have a problem with this kind of traffic?

I've contacted Amazon themselves to ask them. I've seen very few Amazon review sites using it so I suspect it's not something they go for.

I learn't the hard way. Don't do it. It's a form of cloaking and is frowned upon. I had my account suspended with another network and they didn't like exit pop ups. Don't use unless you're in the IM niche.

If I could get it to display the Amazon domain the same as it would if they clicked on it would it make a difference do you think?

no because it's a forced click. It's blatant cookie stuffing.

Yeah now that I think about it, that makes complete sense.

How do think they'd feel about one which just makes a popup on my site - something like 'Check out Amazons latest offer on the 'product name here' with one of their widget links?
