A Question On Posting Valuable Duplicate Content

With the recent Farmer update, I was wondering if doing the following would be problematic.

1. Post selected high quality articles from Ezine articles and other article directories relevant to my niche.

2. Post articles from experts who have granted me permission to post their articles on their websites to my blog.

3. Post high quality PLR articles (no spinning).

Right now, my blog has 100% unique content and I wanted to know if embracing the above strategy would be unwise.

Should I embrace a 100% no duplicate content strategy or can I go for a mix- if so, is there any proportion of original to duplicate that is considered OK?

I have AdSense websites that make a lot of money and they have syndicated content on them. Don't believe the hype around duplicate content.

Good to know. Did your traffic dip after the Farmer update? Also can you tell me know the ratio of unique to duplicate content in your website?

Can only offer my opinion without having done what you've suggested. The first thing I'd say is "what do you have to lose by trying this?". Does the blog make an amount that you'd be prepared to lose if trying this went *&%$ up?

Could you possibly test the strategy on something that might need less damage control?

Sure, I can test it but I wanted to hear if any Warriors are STILL successfully seeing results using syndicated content on their websites.
