Question about article

Hello Warrior,

I recently started writing articles for my own blog and I was wondering can I copy the same article and submit them to sites like ezine, hubpages, squidoo and similar sites ? Will there be any kind of penalty issues ? The articles are 100% original as I wrote them.

Anyone can help me to clarify that ?

    Hi...

You really need to check the TOS of the sites you are submitting the duplicate content too. I know fow Hubpages, they prefer unique content. Now, you can add duplicate cotent, but then you aren't allowed to include any outgoing links to it.

Always makes sense to check the TOS before submitting.

So you are saying I should not use the articles I posted on my blog on any another sites ?

This is not necessary. You can send your articles on your site to article directories as well. Buzzle.com is the only that won't accept content published elsewhere.

I advice you let the content be indexed by Google on your site first and then send it to EzineArticles, and then to any other article directory you want.

There is no duplicate content penalty as far as I know

Ezine Articles, and HubPages and Squidoo are NOT "similar sites" at all - not in any way.

EZA is an article directory. The other two aren't.

"Article directories" and "other sites on which one can post articles" have completely different purposes, functions, uses, benefits and terms of service.

It's essential to understand this fundamental point before starting to think about where else one will post one's articles and in what form.

The answers to your questions will inevitably depend on exactly what it is you're trying to achieve, but it isn't possible to formulate a clear conception of that without understanding what's what first.

No, there will be no "penalty issues" against your own site, wherever you syndicate your content and in whatever form.

But always post it on your own site first and have it indexed there before submitting it to any article directories.

Always read carefully the terms of service of anyone else's website before posting anything on it.

This very helpful, useful thread will explain what article directories are and how to use them. And the incidental chat in the thread will probably answer another 30 questions you'll have in future, even if not right now. The more time you spend reading and thinking about this thread, the more money you'll earn as an article marketer.

This important little thread explains pretty clearly the huge and significant difference between "duplicate content" and "syndicated content" (which is really the issue that prompted your question above). It's also a very useful but slightly complicated thread, in which (as you'll see) some of the participants explain accurately the significance of this, while one or two - for reasons of their own - post utter nonsense which is quickly shown up by others for what it is. This inevitably happens in forums with 300,000 members. I think it's pretty easy, in this case, to tell which are which, though.

    Good luck!

With apologies for bluntness, this is misguided and hopelessly wrong. Sorry.

it's best to rewrite them at least a little bit and focus on a few quality sites.

For mass back links use a completely different article.

And don't forget to back link and index your articles.
